SS Jain Subodh Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidhyalaya, Jaipur Admission Process

The institution, SS Jain Subodh Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidhyalaya, Jaipur, Approval has been given by the NCTE for various teacher education courses and also granted accreditation by the NAAC. Aspiring students are required to follow the admission procedure laid down by SS Jain Subodh Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidhyalaya. Seating will be provided on the basis of merit as well as under the directions passed by the State Government. Before the institution conducts an entrance to the fess, time is given to get admission through merit. Admission is provided as per the guidelines set by the State Government; selection criteria consider marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance tests.

Application Process

The admission process of SS Jain Subodh Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidhyalaya slightly differs from one program to another but will generally include the following steps:

1. Admission Notification: The commencement of the admission procedure is notified through the college website and other media.

2. Application Form: Candidates are required to fill in the application form available either online or from the campus.

3. Document Submission: All necessary documents should be attached when you return the application form. The following documents must be submitted along with the application form for admission purpose:

  1. Mark sheets of the qualifying examination(s)
  2. Transfer certificate
  3. Character certificate
  4. Caste certificate (if applicable)
  5. Recent passport-size photographs

4. Entrance Examination: Entrance examination will be conducted as per the admission requirement on the specified date.

5. Preparation of Merit List: The final merit list will comprise the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test.

6. Counselling and Seat Allotment: Candidates will be called for counseling, and seats will be allotted accordingly on the basis of marks and preferences.

7. Fee Payment: All selected candidates must pay an admission fee to confirm their admission.

8. Document Verification: The concerned officials shall examine the original documents on the day of the admission procedure.

The Admission Process for Various Degrees

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education): This undergraduate program has a maximum intake of 200 students, where admission is based on merit demanding the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection process follows the policy laid down by the State Government or the UT administration. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institute.

M.Ed. (Master of Education): The 50-seats M.Ed. program follows the same procedure as that of the B.Ed., except the program is at the master's level. Selection is mostly through the performance of the students in the qualifying examination, entrance test, or any other selection process that follows the norms of the government or university. Normally, a bachelor's degree in education or its equivalent is required.

D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed Program will have a maximum of 50 seats; students eligible for admission shall be taken by a merit system performance in the qualifying examination, preferably 10+2, and an entrance examination under government/ UT rules and regulations. 

There are less publicized information about Ph.D. programs, including previous entrance exams, interviews, and scrutiny of research proposals by the university faculty. Normally, a master's degree in education and/or allied disciplines is required for admission.

BA B.Ed. Integrated and B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated: The courses culminate in a liberal degree with a B.Ed. qualification. It is unclear how the admission process works, but it is possible that the program uses a merit-based admission system that is based on performance in the 10+2 examination besides an entrance test.
