St. Xavier's college is known for its British colonial architecture, and the building holds n number of classrooms, gymkhana, canteen/foyer, plantation area called the woods, well-equipped labs, a museum, a chapel, girls & boys common rooms with lockers. The classrooms are spacious & well ventilated. Each class is equipped with AV machines for presentations.
The faculty at St. Xavier's college are highly qualified with each professor holding not less than a PhD degree. They've been very motivating & encouraging. They're easily approachable. They encouraged questions and resolved doubts. Xavier's also believed in faculty feedback, to improve on any shortcomings.
Xavier's is a place to lead a way of life. Even though it is an undergraduate college, it offers a great placement prospects. The kind of multinational companies which comes to this campus can give business schools a run for their money. It has various courses and placements differ accordingly. Being an undergraduate college, not many people opt for placements, but whoever opt for it for the ample of opportunity to work with their dream recruiter.
It's an old building made of stones so the classrooms stay cool even during summers. Unfortunately, there's no data inside the classrooms. There are projectors in classrooms, two libraries, science labs and even an office to help the differently abled.
Excellent professors with excellent domain knowledge. One of the best universities to pursue psychology and AIC (Ancient Indian Culture). It's one of the best universities for arts and this college is the one where one can even develop a competitive edge in their subjects.
Very good placements. Especially in economics, the college boasts a 100% placement rate. Many good companies visit like JP Morgan, Dell, Tata, etc. I didn't go for placements since I wanted to continue my studies but my friends were all able to get placed.
There are a lot of fests. Campus Life in xaviers is happening. Something is always up, it's up to the students to choose what they want to be a part of.
The college has just amazing fracture. It is one of the greatest college in Mumbai and offers variety of courses. The college is blend of modern and somewhat vintage buildings and provides every basic pet facilities to the students.
The Academics is just great here. The teachers and professors are highly skilled and knowledgeable. I think we have some of the best teachers in this college who frequently tries to improve us and also the syllabus and curriculum is also updated.
The quality of placement is good and our College is also supportive in terms of placement and Other kind of help required by student. I don’t know the exact number of student getting placed, but yes, the placement is good.
The college is a heritage site yet provides the best infrastructure. As a bsc student, I had access to all essential lab equipment of the best quality. The classrooms were well furnished and comfortable and aided the learning experience. The canteen served nutrient rich delicious meals.
I am a graduate with double majors in Zoology and Biochemistry and had to study Microbiology, Zoology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Neuroscience and forensic Entomology for the opted course. The curriculum was thoroughly adequate and updated regularly with good weightage to practically applicative courses for each subject. The faculty was great too.
NA . (didn't apply for any)
My course costed around 8 thousand per year, which in my opinion is the best deal a college with top class facilities can provide. I was very content with the course as well as the associated fees for the year.
. .
All facilities are good. We have a physics lab, a chemistry lab, a botany lab, a biology lab, a maths department, an English department, two libraries, Wi-Fi in classrooms and labs, a playing area, and a garden.
It is an autonomous college. The course is good and advanced with the market demand which is great and shows the advancement of the system. The exams are difficult for those who did not prepare and easy for those who prepared for them. Even if you start preparing a week before the exam, you will pass easily.
Almost 100 per cent of students were placed in my course. The top companies were Infosys, Barclays. Roles offered were IT manager, IT engineer etc. The lowest package offered was 2 Lacs per annum and the highest package was 12 Lacs per annum.
Good college.
St. Xaviers College, Mumbai, has a historic infrastructure and a beautiful campus with traditional architecture and modern facilities; during my time in the B.Sc Statistics course, we had modern classrooms, computer labs, etc.
B.Sc. Statistics Program was rigorous and comprehensive. The curriculum actually covered all the essentials, from probability and inferential statistics to analytics. The Faculty were highly experienced and supportive.
The placement at St. Xaviers was well organized. The Placement cell worked with various companies, organizations, and agencies to get good opportunities for Internships and placements for students. There are ample opportunities to get jobs in college.
St. Xavier's provided excellent value for money. Although the tuition fees were slightly higher compared to some other colleges, the quality of education and the institution's reputation made it worth it.
There were numerous clubs, societies, and events to participate in, ranging from cultural festivals to sports tournaments. the college fostered a sense of community, encouraging students to engage in extracurricular activities.
The college has one of the best infrastructure you will ever see. The corridor, the campus will make you feel like you are shooting yourself in the movie. The laboratories are well equipped with equipments. The bioinformatics, molecular biology and animal cell culture labs are best
The best curriculum I would say , the syllabus is designed in such a way that the student will feel overwhelmed but at the same time it's very productive and the courses are interlinked with each other you will feel that the college has equipped very well curriculum.
I am currently in first year , but as far as I know the college has its placement cell students do get placed every year in every field. Most of the people proceeds for PhD and few get placed in the biotech firms
Okay so no doubt you will definitely have the best college life here. The glitz and glamour of the college will be the best thing
Top notch infrastructure with well equipped facilities. Classrooms are equipped with green board and smart smarts. The best part is the library with a antique look of furniture and thousands of books. The place stays very clean and feels like home.
I studied B.com from there and the quality of teaching as well as faculty is very good. Faculty were very concerned about the students and guided as well as supported the students all the time. As it is an autonomous college so the curriculum is designed by the college itself which was up-to-date.
We got a lot of good companies like Mckinsey, JP Morgan and many more. The placement committee was really supportive and engaging. The average salary offered for B.com was 360000 pa. Highest salary was usually offered to students doing BMS or students doing a course in economics.
There are all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. College has Wifi that can be used by all. It has projectors for holding presentations. All these facilities are used and maintained well. The living spaces are very clean.
I did MA in ancient Indian history, culture and archaeology. The curriculum was very well updated and included all recent developments in the field. By the end of the course we are indeed made job ready.
Very good quality placements are provided be it graduate level. Salary packages offered reach 14LPA as well for graduates. The placement process was easy and pleasant for me. The college was also supportive all throughout the process.
The fee here is not too much but the cost of living in Mumbai is very high. But yes the money I invested here in this college was worth. The exposure this college gives you is commendable and it’s an experience to cherish life long.
Campus life is amazing. There are plenty of activities for students to engage in. The staff here are very sweet, down-to-earth. The location of the college is ideal and is safe. It can handle emergencies as well.
The best part is that there is free WI-FI all over the campus. The college is a heritage structure. its has a medical facility. it does have a basket ball court and and badminton court. The college has a good cafeteria and gym. Its library is also big.
Its one of the best colleges in the country and provides quality education with a variety of degree courses. The teaching faculty is outstanding and very helpful. The UGC awarded the college the college with the potential for excellence.
The college provides placements for all its students in the best companies and large pay packets. Placements in companies like Infosys, Axis Bank , TCS etc. The annual CTCs end to rise every year at Xavier's.
Its very affordable as compared to other colleges. The yearly fees were not much when I was studying there. The fees now range between 16000 to 2.5 lakh depending on the courses the student opts for. Most can afford an excellent education.
Campus life is great with students from all over India as well as foreign students. There is a lot of diversity as well as inclusivity in the college. Everyone looks forward to the annual festival Malhar every year.
over all the college is Mumbai's best. there can be no comparison. I'm sure many will agree. All the staff, peons etc are very helpful. The atmosphere is great. There is a dress code , no ripped jeans and sleeveless tops. But apart from that I have enjoyed being a part of the college.
