Also, for the hostelers the institute has separate hostels for boys and girls which makes life easy for out station students.

The premier offering is the three year full time B.Sc course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration which has an intake of 90 students. For the specific diploma courses, SIHMCT provides following two years programmes in Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Bakery and Confectionery, House keeping and Front Office.
