Subhashanna Kul College of Education is located in Pune and was started in the year 2005, the college is well known for its noble efforts to build the future of education. Having its campus at Madhukarnagar-Patas, Tal-Daund, it is a co-educational college which is spread on 10.09 acres of land. NCTE had actually recognised privite college/affiliated college with accreditation and aided college with approval to maintain quality standard of teacher education. There are three courses taught in the institute and the total intake capacity for all three courses is 165; the institute is staffed by fifteen committed teachers. Subhashanna Kul College of Education aims to provide high quality education to produce skilled teachers for the society and becomes one of the leading institution in particular area. The college has endeavor to avail many teaching facilities that would foster and complement the learning experience of students of the college.
Every academic thus entails a well equipped library stocked with reading and reference books, encyclopedia, periodicals and educational journals. Subhashanna Kul College of Education also has a separate reading hall. The psychology laboratory includes all the necessary equipment for the experiment and offers practical classes. In order to continue living up to set demands in technological development, the college has a computer laboratory with 20 sets where learners master various IT skills relevant for today’s college education. For sectional presentations, tutorial and general academic discourse there is a Seminar Hall which can accommodate one hundred persons and is used for conferences, workshops and seminars.
Subhashanna Kul College of Education provides three full-time programmes. There are Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Diploma in Education (D.Ed), and Master of Education (M.Ed). These programmes offer an aggregate of 250 seats; the college guarantees a an ideal ratio between students and their teachers. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed: The Bachelor of Education program at Subhashanna Kul College of Education has an approved intake of 100 seats. Merit is the sole criteria for admission following the guidelines of Government of Maharashtra.
D.Ed: The Diploma in Education is also 100 seats. D.Ed. programs are done to the merit as per Government of Maharashtra Regulations. Academic merit in the qualifying examination will determine the candidate selection.
M.Ed: M.Ed. provides 50 seats. Admission would be given on merit which is considered on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, (usually B.Ed or equivalent) entrance examination, or any other method of selection laid down as per the state government policy/university policy/UT administration policy.
