Sundarban B.Ed College, Kakdwip is one of the highly reputed institutions of Teacher training programs. The admission process of Sundarban B.Ed College is programmed to screen aspiring candidates for its two full-time degree courses: B. Ed and D. El. Ed. The college adopts merit-based admissions as prescribed by the state as well as by the concerned affiliated university in West Bengal. In all programs, admissions are completely merit-based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. This admission criterion is used to select the best-qualified and very talented candidates to enroll in teacher training courses.

Degree wise Admission Procedure
B.Ed: The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program at Sundarban B.Ed College has an approved intake of 100 seats. Admission to this program is on merit, based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. This process is followed within the framework established by the government of the state of West Bengal and the university to which it is attached. The total fee charged for the B.Ed program is Rs 150,000.
D.El.Ed: The Diploma in Elementary Education has provisions for an intake of 50 seats. D.El.Ed admissions are merit-based as are those for other programs, and above that, they are considered based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection process conforms with the policy prescribed by the state government or UT Administration. This total fee of Rs 24,300 is charged for the D.El.Ed program.
