Admission in Susheela College of Education is dependent on the policy formulated and then adopted by the state government of Telangana, Union Territory administration, and the university to which such institutions are affiliated. The institution proves to be a college of opportunities for all applicants regarding admission. The selection of candidates, however, is based on the candidates' performance in qualifying examination and/or on entrance tests.

Application Process

The application process for both BEd and DElEd programmes in Susheela College of Education is basically the same:

1. Eligibility Check: Ensure your eligibility to pursue the desired programme, generally for B.Ed, candidates are expected to have completed their undergraduate degree, and for D.EI.Ed, 10+2 from a recognized board or university.

2. Entrance Examination: Prepare for and appear in the relevant entrance examination as specified by the state government in relation to the universities affiliated to it. Performance in these entrance examination(s) is then taken into consideration for admission.

3. Application Form: Obtain and fill in the appropriate application form for the course in consideration. Applications forms may be available either from the college website or collected from the office handling admissions.

4. Document Submission: Submit fully completed application form alongside any requisite documents for the program. Such may include:

• All Mark Sheets of qualifying examinations
• Entrance exam score card (if applicable)
• Proof of date of birth
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Any other documents specified by the college

5. Basis for Merit List Preparation: Based on the admission policy, the college will prepare a merit list based on candidates' performances in qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests.

6. Counseling-and-Seat-Allocation: Shortlisted candidates, if necessary, might be called for counseling in which they would be allocated seats according to their performance and the number of seats available.

7. Fee Payment: Candidates will have to deposit the prescribed fees to officially secure their admission after the allocation of seats.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):
The B.Ed program run by Susheela College of Education is a two-year full-time course that trains a student to take up teaching at the secondary and higher secondary level. The approved student intake capacity is 100 students into this program. Admission into the B.Ed course takes place following merit by considering the qualifying examination marks and/or performance in entrance examination. The selection is as prescribed under state government, Union Territory administration, and the affiliated university.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):
The two-year full-time Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course also falls under the parasol of Susheela College of Education. This course mainly focuses on providing students the knowledge and competency to handle teaching in elementary schools. The college has also approved admission to 50 students for D.El.Ed. Like the case of the above program, that of D.El.Ed adopts merit-based admission based on the performance of marks in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination according to state government, Union Territory administration, and affiliated university policies.
