SVU College of Sciences was founded in 1954 and is the constituent college of the Sri Venkateswara University situated in the region of Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. This is a co-educational institution with 47 courses offered at four degree level; M.Sc, Ph.D, PGD, M.Phil. The college has a total population of 1,665 and 62 members of the faculty teaching various specialities in sciences. The campus of SVU College of Sciences is located at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh and encompasses a number of educational activities in different scientific fields. 

The college provides a number of facilities for the students and for various activities both academic and co-curricular. The hostels are provided with all essential physical structures both male and female students are housed in different hostel blocks. The campus also has well equipped and technically developed mechanical and science laboratories to support science students. The college offers 47 courses in Ph.D, PGD, M.Sc etc. which includes Ph.D in Psychology, Chemistry and Mathematics.
