Swami Vivekanand College of Pharmacy, Indore, was set in 2004 and is one of the leading institute in the field of Pharmacy Education. This affiliated college is situated in Indore, Madhya Pradesh and has been providing the right direction for the pharmacy aspirants for almost nineteen years. Located in an area of approximately 2.5 acres, the college provides pharmacy courses to the total enrolment of 473 students. The institute boasts of a 46 member faculty of skilled and devoted professionals thus the institute has a small student to faculty ratio which is beneficial in allowing for quality time spent in nurturing talents.
Swami Vivekanand College of Pharmacy has made available quality facilities that facilitates the learning process for the college students. The school’s library is stocked with a collection of about seven thousand books of different categories and knowledge areas; accompanied by magazines and scientific journals to update students’ knowledge. The digital library facility supplements the existing facilities in the training of the students in this faculty. Swami Vivekanand College of Pharmacy has standardised curriculum included several courses of various level of pharmaceutical education. The institute offers six courses out of which three are degree courses and two are diploma courses. These include B.Pharma, M.Pharma with majors in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmacology and D.Pharma. The total approved intake for all courses is 205 students annually which proved that the institute can incubate a large number of pharmacy professionals every year.

B.Pharma: Admission to the B.Pharma program for Swami Vivekanand College of Pharmacy is conducted according to the MP PPT examination. There are certainly 100 students authorized to take on this unique course, being about 100 seats. Consequently, being a general criteria; MP PPT examinees are eligible to seek admission. The basis of selection is essentially given to the rank achieved in the examination and the subsequent admission seat received by the examinee.
M.Pharma: The College offers M.Pharma with three specializations: Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmacology. Each specialization casts a maximum of 15 seats- the result being 45 seats for the entire MPharma. For entrances to these programs, the college considers marks received in GPAT. This stage of selection is endowed with a list premised on GPAT score, which is, obviously, by default filled with bloomers, with the ultimate selection depending on the highest GPAT marks.
D.Pharma: MP PPT will be the decisive test that provides a candidate with entry to the Diploma in Pharmacy Program. The approved strength is 60 for these seats. In principle, having cleared the MP PPT, candidates can seek admission to D.Pharma.
B.Pharma Lateral Entry: Lateral entries into B.Pharma have 10 seats vacant. It is directed towards those holding diplomas in related fields or other related training courses; this allows students to be directly admitted to the second year of the B.Pharma course, creating a more flexible route for entry. Admission into the lateral entry mode may have a set of admission criteria based on the performance in the diploma course and other tests and/or interviews conducted by the college.
In the pharmacy department of our college has very good for structure and very experienced teaching facility . laboratory has sufficient of equipments or chemicals for practicals that needs a good pharmacist . Projectors are available in every class rooms which can be used while faculty to describe any topic with diagram. But there are less sport period in week. There are two canteens are available which provide sufficient and cost friendly food . They always keep they are canteen clean.
