Symbiosis Centre for Media & Communication offers a four-year BA (MC) degree programme with multiple entry and exit options.This is a full-time programme spread over Eight Semesters. Benchmarked for quality and contemporary connections with the undergraduate structures in apex universities worldwide, our programme incorporates lively theoretical lectures, hands-on practical sessions, tutorials, classroom presentations, and take-home assignments. Furthermore, field trips, study tours, projects, and intensive internships help add to the depth of learning in the programme.

The BA(MC) undergraduate programme prepares students to create content in Multimedia Journalism, Film Studies, Film Production, Theories of Communication, Editing, Online Journalism, Cinema Studies, etc.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes. Applicants expecting their 12th results may also apply. It is incumbent upon them to furnish proof of securing a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) aggregate marks, or equivalent grades.
  • Students opting for Honors with Research must earn a 7.5 CGPA and above at the end of Semester-6 and eligibility criteria for the multiple entries would be as per University's Lateral Entry Rules for FYUG Programmes
