Tamil Nadu College of Engineering Coimbatore, now popularly known as TNCE, was incepted in 1984. This affiliated college is situated in Karumathampatti in Coimbatore, and it occupies a total area of land of about 55 acres. TNCE is accredited with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and they teach 13 different courses from four different degree levels.
