About The School of Public Health and Health Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune
It is established in 1989 as a constituent college of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, Maharashtra. As a co-educational institution, the school works towards spreading knowledge in public health and health sciences. Spread over a sprawling campus of 411 acres, the school offers varied specialised programs in response to the growing demand for skilled professionals in the health sector. At the training levels, the students are afforded well-equipped computer laboratories in epidemiology and biostatistics; there are also research laboratories for biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, molecular biology, and nutrition.
