D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): A two-year D.El.Ed course would prepare the trainees to be teachers at the primary and upper primary levels. The program would thus have admissions solely on the basis of merit, determined by the state government. The number of students allocated for D.El.Ed is 50 in this institute. Most of the time, the eligibility requires that students complete their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
