Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology is a four-year full-time undergraduate program approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telangana State or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects.

Admission Details

Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other Engineering colleges in the state through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Telangana State.

Admission Process:

1. 70 % of the seats are allotted based on merit in the EAMCET.

2. 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.

3. In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in the second year of B. Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the ECET, under the lateral entry scheme.

College Infrastructure

Classrooms, hostel, library, labs, and everything will be neat and clean. But I did not think there was Wi-Fi available for students in college. But there was Wi-Fi in hostel. We could give 4 out of 5 rating for hostel food. It was not that bad. Canteen food was very tasty. Prices will also be reasonable. There was a big playground for sports and games. Every year, there will be a cricket competition for all branches.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good, but there is no Wi-Fi. It has a great library and average food. We are allowed to go ground. There are study hours every day from evening 6 PM to 8 PM. I prefer private hostels because it has high fees compared to other hostels. In the college hostel, we get milk

College Infrastructure

TKR College has good facilities and infrastructure. Each laboratory has enough equipment which can suffice the need of up to 50 students in each. Classes are well maintained with smart boards and projectors. College campus also provides free WiFi that can be utilised by the students. College also has a huge library where abundant material and readings can be found on various topics.
