Trisha College of Education in Hamirpur with the aim of becoming a premier institute in teacher education in Himachal Pradesh, India. Trisha College of Education has taken seed authorisation from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which is aimed at quality teachers from numerous programmes offered by it. Admittance to the B.Ed programme, flag-bearer course of the college, shall be solely on the basis of an entrance test conducted by Himachal Pradesh University. This ensures that only the finest candidates are enlisted for the course. That is, the D.El.Ed and M.Ed courses slightly different in terms of entry qualification and admission process. For the D.El.Ed and M.Ed courses, the institution considers the merit score of a qualifying examination and/or entrance test for selection. The college also follows other processes of selection as directed by the State Government, the UT administration, and the affiliated University.

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): This B.Ed programme at Trisha College of Education has received approval for an intake of 100 students. Trisha College of Education admission to the course shall be based strictly on the entrance test conducted by Himachal Pradesh University. This very rigorous selection ensures that only the best students are admitted.
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The approved D.El.Ed programme has an intake capacity of 50 students. The merit of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination determines the admission procedure for this programme. The college shall follow any other process of selection as per the policy of the State Government or UT administration.
M.Ed (Master of Education): The approved intake for the M.Ed programme is also 50 students. Just like the D.El.Ed programme, admission to M.Ed will be on merit basis from qualifying examination marks and/or through an entrance examination. The college also follows any additional selection process prescribed by the State Government, UT administration, or the affiliated University.
