Hey Anurag, going as per the 2018 cutoff trend at UEC Ujjain computer science will not be possible for you.
Last year for a Home State student the cutoff of Computer science and engineering went only upto 70679.
The trends often change but a change of 30k seem to be tough. You can go for other branches too like civil engineering if you are passionate about getting in that college. Best of luck

Dear Komal,
Given your percentile in JEE Mains, I am assuming your rank range to be around 175000. According to previous year statistics, you have a very high chance of getting this college. For example, for B.E Computer Science and Engineering, the Opening rank was 210688. Opening rank for other courses will be relatively more than this.
Hello Aspirant!
If you are a home state quota student then it will be a cakewalk for you, otherwise it won't be easy to get a seat there. The cutoff for other state goes high and with your mentioned rank it will be really tough to get in. But if you are a home state student then be ready for a good branch.
All the best!
Hi Vishal Chohan,
In which college are you asking. Please specify it.

Hello Jitesh,
You will get a Lateral entry into the second year of engineering. Entrance exams are the common procedure to get into an engineeirng college. Regional government colleges and private colleges consider state entrance exams to prepare merit, while autonomous institutes and deemed universities conduct their own exams.
Both are the good colleges and as per Careers360 analysing report,Thapar has got better rating and reviews as it has got AAAA+ (outstanding) to pursue engineering courses whereas JIIT has got AAAA which says this is a very good college.
Campus - Thapar has got better campus of 250 acres space in comparison to JIIT.
Infrastructure-Thapar’s infrastructure is more spread as compared to JIIT but both the colleges have good infrastructure.
Campus Life- Campus life is equally good in both colleges. While JIIT being in NCR offers better recreational facilities whereas Thapar has better campus facilities in terms of sports.
Faculty-Both the colleges have good faculty who justify their designations with their experience and amazing effort that they put while working towards the development of any and every student.
Placement- Thapar has got better placement records in comparison to JIIT but the fact remains JIIT is also not that bad. You can also check the placement stats of both the colleges below -
Hope this helps!!!
Infrastructure of college building is too old. but, Every department has enough classrooms and water-coolers available. There is a central library here which is very widespread having almost all the types of books available.Semester exams are difficult at our college, especially science, which is very tough; only 45% of students are able to pass.
The facilities and infrastructure available in our college are good. It has Wi-Fi, labs, hostels and other rooms. The hostel infrastructure is average. Hostels are too old, but some new hostels are well-furnished and have all facilities like a canteen, sports and games.
The labs here are quite good and in working condition. You will get a lot of exposure to subjects and learn somany things. Classrooms are quite average.hostels are maintained clean and good. gym facility is also available.
