Hello,
The admission to Second year B.Tech through lateral entry in Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology, Guntur in based on merit in AP ECET. 10% seats of the total intake are reserved for lateral entry admission. Unlike for 4 year B.Tech admission management quota seats are not applicable for lateral entry admission. So you have to appear for AP ECET and qualify in it to be eligible to get admission. If you get admission through convener quota you need to pay the fee for 3 years only that is from second year through fourth year.

hello saif uzzama
I hope you are doing good . As per your query , I would like to know you that changing of branch is not easy as it sound and it id depend of many terms and conditons. Every year only 4-5 students get the chance to changer their branch after 1st year . Firslty you need to have very very high cgpa atleast more than 9.2 and secondly upgrading to cse branch is very difficult because all seats are already full if someone left from the college then you can upgrade on that vacancy whereas upgrading to ECE branch is somewhat easy
Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future
Hello,
KKR and KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences , is located in Guntur. This college offers various courses in various programs like B.Tech, MBA, M.Tech etc. To admission to B.Tech courses, you have to give AP EAMCET Exam. Placements in CSE are good here. The average package is around 2-3 LPA, whereas the highest package goes very much. On the other hand, Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology is an engineering college in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Same here for B.Tech courses, you have to give the AP EAMCET Exam. Here the placements for IT are much better. The average package is around 4-5 LPA, while the highest goes above 10 LPA.
Overall, VVIT is better than KITS, in terms of placements.
Hope it helps.
Dear aspirant,
According to your question,i would judge the two branches in two colleges on the basis of placements, faculty, infrastructure and that would be the basis of my review.
In infrastructure both the colleges have good facilities . Vr Siddhartha has spacious classrooms whereas vvit has good internet facilities
In faculty members vvit has a better faculty ratio and well educated and trained professors.
In placements ece at vr Siddhartha has poor placements and the median salary is 3.6 lakhs which is too low and vvit offers an average salary of 4.5 lakhs and so i think its a better option in terms of placements.

Hello,
If you do not wish to join in this college then you do not have to self report in the college and complete the admission process. You will still be eligible to exercise web options in second phase counselling. If you get seat in second phase counselling in a better choice of college then you need to self report in the college but if you do not get seat in second phase then you do not have any college to join. So if you are okay with no seat allotted to you by the end of the counselling then you do not have to self report in the college allotted in first phase. But if you report in the first phase seat allotment college then the previous seat allotment will be retained if you do not get seat in second phase. If you get seat in second phase then the college allotted in first phase will automatically gets cancelled. It is better to self report in the first phase allotted college so that even if you do not get seat in the second phase your previous seat will be retained but it is your decision at the end.
Hi Prasanna!
Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College, Tirupati, VVIT Guntur, and RVR and JC College of Engineering, Guntur, are similar in their Infrastructure. They have huge libraries, laboratories, cafeteria, Wi-Fi enabled campus, gym, etc,.
They accept AP EAMCET. The Placement is quite good in RVR and JC when compared to that of VVIT and SVEC. The Median Salary VVIT is Rs. 6 lakhs/year and in SVEC is Rs. 3.8 lakhs/year! The median salary in RVR and JC is Rs. 3.25 lakhs/year!
Hope this is helpful!
All the best!
Hi Aspirant,
Both Colleges are equal good and offer almost equal opportunities in Placements. However I would recommend you to go for VR Sidhhartha since the placement rate is slightly higher than the other colleges.Renowned companies come for CS placements like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Darwinbox, Airbus, Cisco, Pega India, Infosys, Deloitte, TCS (Ninja and Digital), Virtusa Neural Hack, Capgemini, Hexaware, Cognizant, etc .Faculties are equally good in both colleges and infrastruture is also excellent in both campus,
I would suggest you to go for VR Siddharth.
Hope it helps!!
Hello student,
As per student's reviews, experience and college ratings, Prasad V Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (PVPSIT), Vijayawada is better than Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT), Guntur .
Ratings -
PVPSIT : 4.5/5
VVIT : 3.9/5
Specifically talking about ECE in both the colleges :
At VVIT, faculty and students follow jntuk syllabus which is not student friendly and very hard to hang with other courses. Also, placement under this trade is somewhat not good. Usually students get placed from IT trade. While at PVPSIT, the things aren't like this. Academics are smooth for majority of the courses with well qualified faculty.
However, different students have varieties of perspective about the courses. Go through the reviews of both the colleges and then decide as per your preference.
You can also compare both the colleges here in the link below :
