1.I am pursuing Civil Engineering in my final year at VVIT. I choose this field because it allows me to design and build infrastructure that directly impacts society, such as bridges, roads, and sustainable buildings. Civil engineering combines creativity, problem solving, and technical skills. The quality of teaching at VVIT is generally good, with knowledge faculty and practical learning opportunities like site visits and workshops . 2. Our curriculum is well structured and updated to include recent developments in the field.we have a strong focus on practical skills, with well equipped labs . The department also organized regular workshops, seminars and guest lecturers by industry experts. In terms of job readiness, I feel confident that our program has prepared us well. we're had opportunities to work on real world projects, participate in internships, and engage with industry professionals through various events and activities.

The highest package offered was 24 LPA and the highest package was offered to students from the computer science and engineering department. 3. The average placement package is around 3.5 LPA . The placement process is quite smooth, with the collage providing pre placement training from the first semester itself. The collage is supportive, with dedicated faculty member's guiding students throughout the placement process.

For management quota, fees can be higher. Additional costs like hostel fees and exam fees might also apply. 2. I feel that I am getting my money's worth at VVIT because the collage has quality education, infrastructure and facilities, placement opportunities, co-curricular activities and supportive environment.

Separate accommodations for boys and girls with decent amenities, including Wi-Fi, hygienic food and recreational areas. Buses are covering many routes, ensuring safe and convenient commuting for students.

    Academics

I am pursuing a civil engineering, because I am passionate in civil engineering software. Quality of teaching is good, we have a friendly faculty to ask any type of doubts. Faculty explain everything and clarify the doubts. Yes I am think my curriculum is updated. We have some jobs but companies are so far.

    Placements

My college have strong placement cell, attracting top companies like TCS, Infosys and cognizant, providing good opportunities for students. 80-85% of eligible students secure placements each year. Some branches, like computer science IT, often report higher placement percentages, while core branches may have slightly lower numbers. Highest salary package is 48LPA.

    Value for Money

55000 for tution fee and 7500 for placements,3000 for NBA fee and extra hostel or bus fee. No, because i am taking a core branch so we don't have any placements, and hostel and bus fees are increasing every year.

    Campus Life

My college is best in academics and extracurricular activities. Worst features are strict rules and regulation, limited freedom, internet connectivity issues, lack of cultural and recreational diversity, placement pressure and cafeteria quality.students come from various parts of Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring states, creating a culturally diverse atmosphere. Faculty members are well qualified, with many holdings advanced degrees and having substantial teaching experience. My college is away from major urban areas. Practical placement training by Expert faculty

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college can be considered average. The labs are good but the Wi-Fi facility is somewhat weak. I did not know anything about the hostel facilities as a day scholar. The bus facility is better, as the buses are available from our place.

    Academics

Faculty are good and explain well. But they need more training for specialized branches in order to teach machines learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, etc. The semester-end exams are some what tough in our college. The pass percentage would be nearly 70% every time.

    Placements

In our college, in previous times, most of the students got placed with a satisfactory package but now, due to the recession, the count is somewhat lower. The college is not providing any at present but it helps the students get on their own through an online website.

    Modern Labs and Supportive management

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good. Bus stand is available but seats are not available for students. During summer, we also feel suffocated. We have observed power cut in this college. Classrooms are great. Due to the power cut, we suffered a lot. Washrooms are not good.

    Academics

The teachers are very helpful, well qualified for the subjects, and have good quality teaching. The course curriculum is also mature and industrial-oriented, and the semester exams have enough time for studying. Each semester has about 5 subjects and 4-5 months of time.

    Placements

About 8 CGPA is considered rich for the placements; the highest package found was 40 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA. Companies such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Virtusa, and Cognigant are some of the well-known recruiters. Regarding the internships, organizations such as AWS, Salesforce, and Google Cloud tie with associations like Eduskills, AICTE, Coursera, etc.

Just an Average College but Placements are Good

    College Infrastructure

It gives off school vibes with many rules (mobile & bike are not allowed on campus). Colleges are increasing area-wise year by year. The bus facility is good, but the boys hostel is far away from college, and the hostel food is below average. The college mess only contains meals in the afternoon nothing else.

    Academics

Outdated curriculum and traditional teaching faculty are the major backdrops, as per me. I hope they will change the faculty or make them up-to-date on current industry trends and help the upcoming batches achieve their targets in a more constructive way.

    Placements

Some of the prominent companies that have recruited from VVIT include Amazon, TCS Digital, PhonePe, TechMahindra, and Cognizant. The average salary package offered during the placements in 2023 was approximately INR 4.38–4.49 LPA. In the 2022-2023 academic year, 655 out of 965 eligible students were placed, resulting in a placement rate of around 93.30%.

    College Infrastructure

All the equipment necessary for students is available, including full Wi-Fi classrooms and good infrastructure, classrooms with projectors and advanced labs for every branch. Library access, sports and many other activities are there, which come under clubs and our college has SAC (Student Activity Council), which is a student body association.

    Academics

Faculty teach up-to-date and explain current trends and application-oriented teaching. Teaching quality is good and focuses primarily on developing the fundamentals for students. Semester exams are okay, pass percentages are good and additional help like retaking class and reorganizing class for weaker students takes place.

    Placements

The main motto of our college is 'Everyone counts'. Placement guidance is started right from 1st year focusing upon aptitude, quantification, and verbal reasoning, which is not only for placements but also useful for many competitive exams. The average package was 7 LPA and as per 2023 batch, the highest package was 48 LPA by Amazon. There are many mncs like tcs, virtusa wipro epam and many more recruiters. About 85% get placed every year.

Have a question related to VVIT Guntur ?

VVIT Guntur and Vishnu Institute of Technology Bhimavaram are both good colleges, especially for branches like CSE, IT, and ECE.

VVIT generally has a slightly higher placement percentage, around 90 to 93 percent. Its average package is around 4.4 LPA, with top offers going up to 29 LPA. The college has good infrastructure, placement training, and consistent results.

Vishnu Institute of Technology also has strong placements, around 80 to 90 percent in core branches. The average package is similar, around 4.3 to 4.5 LPA. Some students have received very high offers, but those are rare and not guaranteed for everyone.

Overall, VVIT may offer slightly better placement consistency, while Vishnu is also a solid choice. Both are good, and your final decision can depend on your branch preference, location, and comfort.
