College Infrastructure
The infrastructure is good enough not that great but it contains every essential component. The college classes are now fitted with acs and some with projectors too. There are labs with non working components so it is one cons. Overall its ok. The hostel now are renovated so has good condition and capacity.

College Infrastructure
Good Facilities are available in my Deportment. A decent atmosphere to study is also available. The infrastructure could be a little bit better because the quality of the furniture is not good. There are enough screens and a projector set up for e-learning also.

College Infrastructure
Since the college is over 100 years old, the infrastructure is not a strong point of the college, with CS, Textile, and IT departments being an exception. Yes, VJTI does provide hostel facilities for students, although not all students get the hostels. There are 2 hostels for B.Tech and Diploma, for both boys and girls. In addition, there is 1 hostel for M.Tech students. The M.Tech hostels are amazing, with facilities like geysers, cleaner washrooms, balconies, and lifts.

Taking a drop for MHT CET preparation can be a good option if you are committed to improving and can focus on your studies. It will not negatively affect your career if you plan well, stay focused, and improve your skills. Many successful candidates take a gap year.

- To gain admission to Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) for Computer Science (CS) via the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET), you should aim for a high percentile.
- Based on past year's cutoff trends, particularly in the General Category (GOPENS), VJTI's closing percentile for Computer Engineering has regularly been in the high 99s.
- Admissions in 2025 may vary depending on the number of candidates, the difficulty level of the exam, and the number of available seats.
- Other categories, such as OBC, SC, ST, and EWS, have lower cutoffs but are still quite competitive, with most categories for Computer Science and Information Technology streams scoring above the 95th percentile.

VJTI in Mumbai actually offers a B.Tech in Computer Engineering, which is the closest thing they have to a straight-up software engineering degree. For Maharashtra state students, they mostly look at your MHT-CET scores. If you're coming from outside Maharashtra, they'll consider your JEE Main scores. Looking at last year (2023), here's a rough idea of the MHT-CET cutoff percentiles for Computer Engineering:
- General Category (GOPENS): The last person admitted had a rank of around 208, which translates to about a 99.82 percentile.
- OBC (GOBCS): The cutoff rank was about 504, putting you at a 99.76 percentile.
- SC (GSCS): You're looking at a closing rank of roughly 2,329, or a 99.06 percentile.
- ST (GSTS): The cutoff here was around 11,567, which is about a 95.49 percentile.
Keep in mind that these numbers are just from 2023, so they could change this year. It's always best to check the official VJTI website or the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell's official info for the very latest details.
