Degree wise Admission Process
B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce program at Vidya Sagar College for Girls has an approved intake of 60 students. Admission is based on the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination, with a focus on subjects relevant to commerce studies. B.Sc Non-Medical and B.Sc Medical: Both these Bachelor of Science programs have an approved intake of 50 students each. For B.Sc Non-Medical, candidates with a strong background in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are preferred. For B.Sc Medical candidates who have studied Biology along with Physics and Chemistry in their 10+2.
BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): The BCA program has an approved intake of 40 students. Admission is based on the 10+2 results, with preference given to candidates who have studied Mathematics or Computer Science in their higher secondary education.
BA (Bachelor of Arts): The college offers various specializations under the BA program. Admission is based on the 10+2 results, with consideration given to the subjects studied at the higher secondary level relevant to the chosen specialization.
M.Sc Information Technology Lateral Entry: This postgraduate program has an approved intake of 40 students. Admission is generally based on the performance of the candidate in his/her previous undergraduate degree in a related field of study.
PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications): The intake capacity is 40. Under this program, graduates from various disciplines are eligible. Admission is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying bachelor's degree.
BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): The approved intake is unknown; admission to the BBA program is based on the 10+2 results, preference being given to candidates who have studied commerce or business-related subjects.
