Affiliated pharmacy college named Vinayaka College of Pharmacy, Kullu is situated in Bahouguna, Garsa, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, was established in the year 2008. PCI or Pharmacy Council of India and AICTE, All India Council for Technical Education approve the same institute. The college occupies a compact campus of 2.1 acres and at the present moment has 171 students including foreign students and 20 professors. 

Vinayaka College of Pharmacy has one programme in the field of pharmacy to produce pharmacists to meet health care needs in their region. The college specifically caters research oriented pharmaceutical college where environment of the college and beaches of other resources make it fit for a student to perform substantial in his or her area of chosen field.

The college has equipment that was established to make the learning environment of its clients more productive. The library and information centre is an essential facility where students, faculty members, and researchers get most of their literature from; and there is adequate provision for students to read comfortably; and there is adequate provision for natural light from the windows. 

It has state of the art facilities which include CD-ROMs, online databases, video cassettes, books, journals and e-books. The college also has well equipped laboratories as to some crucial facilities may include preparation rooms, computers and safety measures. To solve this the students have been equipped with a canteen that develops and offers hygienically prepared neat and healthy foods and drinks. 

The college pays much attention to various projects of physical mobilization; There are well-equipped sports complexes which provide indoor and outdoor games such as cricket, badminton, volleyball, and kabaddi. Also in the campus, but outside the car-free zone there is a limited parking space, a large hall for concerts, seminars, dramas etc., guest houses, a health center with basic first aid unit, and transport, both public and private for the students and staff of the university.

At present Vinayaka College of Pharmacy has only one full time course known as Bachelor of Pharmacy course abbreviated as B.Pharma. This undergraduate degree programme takes four years to complete and has an approved capacity of 60 students. The college aims at offering quality education in pharmacy to enable its students to attain the basic goal of performing well in this industry, research and healthcare care sectors. Although information with reference to cardinality of graduates is still scarce, the college ensure meanings to pharmaceutical education in view of its specialized curriculum and infrastructure.

Vinayaka College of Pharmacy follows the admission criteria in which admission is taken through the Himachal Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (HPCET) conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Technical University. This entrance examination is mainly used to admit interested students to the B.Pharma program. But still, the college also provide the direct admission schemes for merit students as well.
