Mentioned as Vande Matram Institute of Professional Studies, VIPS College is an affiliated college in Gwalior, the largest city of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This institution was started in 2011 and has provided educational service for the students up to the present time. Located at Rairu Road, New Bypass Tiraha, A.B Road, Baraua, Gwalior(M.P.), it is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). VIPS College has a broad spectrum of 15 courses under 10 degree programs to cover the maximum area of students’ preferences and demands in the job market.

Vande Matram Institute of Professional Studies has several structures some of which are built to complement the learning atmosphere and personal growth of the learners. A large collection of books and other materials, sufficient number of sitting capacities enables a library to create conducive atmosphere for students to carry out their research. The institution has well-equipped functional nursing laboratory and the anatomy and physiology laboratory to facilitate learner practical encounters. For the students seeking admission in VIPS College, the college provides the separate hostels for boys and girls students to help out station student with a comfortable stay. It has also an open air auditorium and a multi purpose hall with tbl seating capacity up to 150 students where all these events and activities can be accomplished. The staff and students are provided with their food through a campus cafeteria. The college also values technological improved ICT Amenities with a computer laboratory that has internet facilities. This institution offers 15 courses, which include under graduate and post graduate programs. These courses are mostly conventional full-time programs to meet the demands of the students aspiring for normal, face-to-face learning. The college currently has some of the most sought after undergraduate courses including B.Com, BA, B.Sc (Maths Group and Bio Group), BBA and BCA. For the learners interested in higher learning, the college offers master’s degrees which include; M.Com, MA- Political Science and Sociology, M.Sc-Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Apart from the graduate programs the college has PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications) as well as D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) also it has the approved intake of 50 students. 

VIPS College Gwalior has conveniently designed the admission process to be clear and easy based on merit. Most courses admissions are conducted according to the scores achieved in the qualifying examination. But for specific programs like D.El.Ed, procedure of selection for the college is a bit tougher. This, according to the admission procedure as stated under D.El.Ed admission authority states, “Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and university.” TAs to the NCTE approval, it can be seen that the college is into quality education especially for those who intends to teach.
