The infrastructure of the college is average but it may get better in future. The college has no ground. Classrooms are average but the library is very large and very good reference books are available. The infrastructure of the college is quite good.
The teachers and staff are very nice and helpful. The curriculum is updated as per future needs or demands. Almost every teacher in college is masters and PhD completed, and the teaching quality is also very good. Students can work with faculty on research projects, Students get substantial industry exposure.
Placement is good for branches like computer, IT. And for core branches like mechanical, civil it is average. As many companies are come for placement. T&P department helps the students to get through placements.
College has decent campus and location of college is underdeveloped area.
Overall college is good for curriculum and other activities.
College infrastructure is average. There is no college hostel. The ground of viit is too small. Laboratories facilities are good. Sports center is for name only. There is no smart boards in college. There is no college life.
I am studying btech in mechanical engineering the academics are good. It comes under top engineering colleges in pune. Because of autonomy the syllabus is structured in best way. Teaching quality is also good. The curriculum is updated and it includes all recent developments.
The placement is best for CS and IT branch. As it mechanical the placements are few in core. Most mechanical students got placed in CS and IT branch. In last year there is internship in 7 or 8th semester.
I cost one lakh seventy thousand rs per year. It is quite high. The fees are too much in compare of other facilities like sports, wifi, hostel, wifi.
Campus life is not there because the campus is too small. Infrastructure is average.
Vishwakrma Institute of Information Technology has good infrastructure compared to some other colleges. The college provides the students with all the necessary facilities and equipment needed for the ease of understanding. Every classroom has a projector, a projector screen, normal black board, etc. All the labs in the college have the required instruments and that too in good condition. The college buildings have Wi-Fi connections for. Overall the infrastructure is good enough.
I am a student of B. Tech Mechanical Engineering from what experiences I have got I can firmly say that the quality of teaching at a very high level. The faculties are polite to the students and are great in their fields of teaching. Every teacher has got good knowledge and an ample of experience in teaching. Being an Autonomous college the curriculum is frequently updated and includes the recent technologies being used in the industries. Students get hands on experience making them job ready.
The college is mainly known for its placements and you wont be disappointed if you visit the college and have a look at the records of the recent years. Students get placed in different companies according to their skillsets and caliber. College is always supportive in terms of placemets.
The college is well maintained and cleaned all the time. Staff and all the facilities are good even after the lockdown. Living spaces are clean. Outdoor benches are made to sit and study as well as Library is quite maintained.
It's good as compared to the updated curriculum. And the way of approach towards the study is very good.Yes it makes me feel job ready. And the staff is well educated to make us educated at the very basics of all the subjects, to make our base strong and make us job ready.
Placements are a plus point of this college. Apart from high competition in the college, college offers a variety of placements in various departments. Almost 80-90 percent students get placed from on-campus among those who elected to sit for placements. Last year it was 100%.
Yes I feel like my money is getting worth the value. Because of the vast diversity in the college being in studies and other activities,I can explore myself easily in this college. Course cost depends on various factors.
College campus offers a variety of activities to be a part of. Like sports, cultural activities, business activities, enterpreneurship development skills, etc. For handling all these activities the support staff play a major role, which helps us lot.
Being in Third year, it is a good experience of mine to be in this college. Considering all the factors, be it studies, internships, placements and extra curricular activities including sports. This college is suitable for those who aspire to be a successful engineer.
There are different buildings for different departments. Workshop is also very good.Wifi is available in college but sometimes causes issue. Labs are good. Classroom are neately clean and about ground you will be unsatisfied because ground is small.College has hostel nearly 1.2km far from campus and some may feel it expensive.
Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable.Even in online mode the teaching quality was good. If you are study neatly you don't have to worry about. As it is autonomous clg the syllabus is updated, course curriculum is relevant. Semester exam difficulty was above average and you need to score 40% of total marks including Project based learning and team work
The main reason for going into this college is the placement. The placement office is same for VIT and VIIT so you will able to attend placement at VIT Pune. Avg pakage for CS and IT is nearly 6.5-7 LPA and for Entc it is 5.5LPA.Nearly 307 companies visited clg with highest package of 33LPA.You don't have to worry about placement here if you are from circuit branches
One of the best college For Engineering in Maharashtra
Infrastructure is quite satisfactory. There not enough classrooms and ground is also quite small. All departments are mixed together owing to less capacity. One ground is not enough for all the sports.Hope it gets better.
The academics are quite good.Assignments are taken on time and everything is taken in an orderly manner. Our curriculum is quite updated and internships are also presented to you at orderly times. Our jobs basically make us job ready.
Comparitive with other colleges the placement here are good even when it was the covid time . Students are placed in good companies like VMware, Nvidia , etc. There are internships from third year itself where you get experience.
The infrastructure is moderate. We have been provided with almost all the facilities. They hygiene maintenance is very poor.. The food is not hygienic at all. The classrooms are not maintained well enough.
I'm studying electronics and telecommunications engineering and I think this program is one of the best programs of viit. The faculty is very well educated and has a sense of understanding towards their students.. the curriculum is well updated and makes a student ready for future within all the aspects.
The history of Placements has been good for this college.. Various companies come in hunt of brilliant students and select them through various rounds. A good percentage of students gets plavef and that's one of the best qualities of this college.
As I am a general category student, this course costed me 1.68 lakhs per annum and I believe its worth paying as academically, this college provides a lot of help.
College campus is moderately big.. Activities are maintained well.. Students can take part in various events organised by various clubs present. The teaching and non-teaching staff is fair. The location is good too.
Our college doesn't have all the necessary infrastructure. There is just one ground over which different sports are played. Two departments are combined in one building which creates confusion sometime.
I am currently studying BTECH in Artificial intelligence and Data Science in VIIT,Pune. The faculty is very good and are very cooperative. They are always ready to help you and clear your doubts. The academics and the curriculum is upto date and theres absolutely no obstacle.
The placements in our college are quite good especially for the Computer Science,IT departments. As my batch is the senior most batch we don't have much idea about our placements. The average salary offered to the above branches is 7-8 lakhs.
Pretty decent infrastructure. The work is still in progress. The campus has buildings assigned to VU as well. Has ample parking space and 2 on campus canteens. Labs are well equipped and are equipped with wifi.
Since it's an autonomous college ,the syllabus is quite modern and apt with rising technologies. The faculties are PHD holders or are pursuing it.Quite knowledgeable and helpfull faculties. Overall good academics are followed at VIIT.
Being a tier 3 level college, the placement offered is of that level. On campus highest placement offered is 16 lpa. But the help in off campus opportunities provided by our college is quite good. Students achieve 20/30 lpa via off campus placement only.
It's a pretty decent college. The crowd is diverse. But the academic nature is quite good. There are ample opportunities provided, if you grab them then you can end up well. The fees for open category is 1.78 lakh per annum.
The college has excellent campus life. There are many technical and non technical clubs which are active throughout the year. The staff is helpful and the student crowd is okay. The location is close to slum so there are some issues. But there are security guards everywhere providing a safe environment. The fest i.e Gandharva is one of the best fest in Maharashtra.
Overall ,i would say that the college is not bad. At state level you can expect only these kind of colleges. But its still better than other tier 3 colleges in Pune. So choose VIIT for its academics and opportunities.
