Facilities are good. The infrastructure is satisfactory but our campus is small. Wifi network is not good un college. Hostels are not good so private hostels or rental houses are good option. Sports and games are good in this college
Teachers are helpful and kind. They are very interactive with students. The teaching quality is excellent. Tutorial and theory lectures are managed to make students practice more. If we study notes properly then we can score good grade. Semester exams are moderate.
Around 80% of students got places in our courses. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, wipro, Infosys, nvidia, tata, mahindra etc. The top roles offered are app developers, data scientists etc. College provide internships to students
College have good infrastructure and facilities. College have gym, indoor/outdoor games and big auditorium there college arranges good events. Campus is small but it is nice. Big playground under college campus
I'm pursuing my btech in mechanical engineering. The teaching quality is very good. Smart labs also available in college. Free wifi provided in campus. All college staff are highly qualified and so friendly.
The college placement is very good. College provide 100% placement to its students. Last year highest package in 47LPA get to an COMP student. College give average package of 5 to 10 LPA to students. CS branch is getting highest package along with other branches.
Good Engineering College
We have Wi-Fi, labs for various courses, a library, a gym, and so on. These facilities were mentioned to me by other students. The food at the mess is superior to that at the canteen. We have medical services. Sports are also organised by the college. There's a whole floor dedicated to Flip Learning. Corridors are clean. Toilets are unmaintained but overall it's well managed.
Teachers are always willing to assist us when we are in need, and they are highly qualified with Ph.D. degrees. With board work and coaching, the teaching quality is excellent. We have an industry round trip workshop that prepares us for the industry. Semester examinations are difficult because we used to have two internals before the semester, thus there's always a hustle to finish the massive syllabus. It's an autonomous institution.
More than 90% of students are hired by MNCs. Top recruiting firms include Infosys, TCS, and Mindtree. Every student is required to complete internships or training at the end of each semester, making JISCE students more employable. ECE and IT have highest placement ratio. Package varies from 10+ LPA to 2.5 LPA. But most of the students get placed when companies like Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. reach out for interviewing the students.
The students find it difficult to keep up with the constantly changing rules and regulations, but when compared to other colleges, the cost of one semester is comparable to an average one. And given the constant exposure to outside initiatives and opportunities, I believe it almost justifies the cost.
Multiple clubs and activities, functions, yearly Jistech and such signature Events are organised. Lots of Opputunities to showcase your talents. Singing, Dancing, Photography, Quiz, etc. You will even get the opportunity

It is very good collage for engineering.
It has good infrastructure, you have classrooms, laboratories, libraries, wifi, smart boards and you have 2 canteens for refreshments as well plus you also have huge auditorium for special occasions like fests.
Academics is good, it covers main subjects, I studied for CS and found out that academics covered all the important subjects that are necessary in industry plus there are many electives available to choose
Placements are good for CS, majority placements happen from CS and IT departments but electronics and ENTC also have many subjects similar to CS and IT so they can also appear for placements for IT companies
Fees is reasonable
Campus is very small, can improve on this aspect
College infrastructure can be rated between average to good. It has all necessary equipments required for every discipline of engineering the college offers. The college has four main buildings which also has underground floors. The campus is small so sport facilities are not so good . There is one ground is used for all sports activities like cricket, volleyball, etc. Rest times the ground is used for parking purposes. Campus is clean, well maintained and full of lush green trees.
I am currently pursuing B.tech. in Chemical engineering. Every student in the college irrespective of their branch is made to learn coding. In my first year I learnt C and python. It emphasises on practical learning rather than rote learning. In my first year I did 8 projects which were assessed by the professors. Being an autonomous college its curriculum is up to date. All professors are qualified and well experienced. Project based learning is what makes VIT different from other colleges.
Placements in CS, IT, Entc, AI DS are great. College claims that almost 98%-100% of eligible students get placement. Average salary offered is 6.5 lpa and highest offered was 31 lpa. Students grab great internships at known companies like cisco with stipend upto 60k . You need to maintain good cgpa and develop your own skills to get good placement. Placements in core branches are average but one can prepare coding and apply for CS, IT placements. Research opportunities provided are also good.
College fee is quite on the higher side. It is 1.85 lac per year for open category and ST SC candidates have to pay 28k per year. College hostel fee is high , 1.11 lac per year for girls and 1.5 lac per year for boys. Generally hostel students stay in flats which is much more cost effective.
VIT being situated in Pune is a major perk because you get great exposure here. Studying with the top 1 percentile of students really help you grow and learn. Best thing about campus life is the friends you make and spend the rest 4 years of your life with them. College has 41 clubs and societies so you can be part of any club you want and explore your interest. Extra curricular activities are great with annual fests like Vishwakarandak and Melange. Seniors are very helpful and they guide well.
Being the second best college of Pune you really need to work hard to be the best because competition is very high. CGPA is what really matters here so you need to maintain good grades. College provides you with many opportunities and you have to develop the right skills to grab them and about the campus life, it is great. All the best!!
Yes college have all the necessary Infrastructure, faculties & equipment. About faculties the Teachers or Professor are very experienced. As well as the place is hygiene & healthy atmosphere. Clubs are also there.
Mainly our college progress full syllabus pattern of requirements of industry .All the teachers of helpful and much more knowledgeable their teaching qualities are so friendly useful and understable our syllabus pattern includes group discussion presentation and communication skills required for industry.
For specially computer engineering branches excellent average number of students are placed in top require rating companies such as Atlas copco industry which give annual package of around 10 lacs and almost all students get internship through companies like Atlas copco and colleges main focus on development skills required for industries.
Infrastructure is outstanding. Vishwakarma Institute of Technology has nice infrastructure. Vishwakarma institute of technology has weseparate buildings for each branch. College infrastructure is big and well planned. has
Syllabus of Vishwakarma Institute of Technology is well designed. Subjects taught in Vishwakarma Institute of Technology are interesting and trendy . They change their subjects each year which is great.
Placements at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology are Outstanding. The percentage of students being placed is high. Average salary of the college is of 8 to 9 lakhs . Vishwakarma Institute of Technology is really very supportive college.
Yes it's value for money
Campus Life is Nice
Overall VIT is best
Our college is well maintained and hygienic. It has good canteen. And it has good net connectivity, also has well maintained labs. Sport centres are also good. Classroom are also good and campus is green
I am studying electronics and telecommunication engineering, and till now my experience is best. Staff is also good and encourages us for more participation. Our college promotes us for internships and conducts various valuable webinars
Actually I'm a first year student so I don't have much idea but according to my knowledge avg placements is nearly 6-8 lakhs. VIT pune is among top colleges of Maharashtra so offers a better placements.
I nearly cost ₹1,80,000 per year with academics and hostel
It has green and hygienic campus
Almost all of the resources are very neatly present in college. There are projectors in classrooms, with rooms being big enough and spacious. Everything is very properly maintained and in fact used too. There are 2 canteens in all along with one cafe and a bakery. The food served is quite good and tasty. Labs are well-equipped. Washrooms are clean enough. There is a lawn and a ground. The campus, although not very big, is green enough and full of trees making it serene.
Being autonomous has its own perks, which are very well applied in this college. The subjects taught are so very industry-related and make students perfectly able to face all conditions of being chosen by good companies. The amount of projects done in a year is so much that it gives the entire hands-on experience throughout 4 years. The curriculum keeps getting updated regularly according to external demands in market.
Although, I personally have not much of an idea about the placements since I am still in my second year. But the placements have been really good at this place. The stats and companies are all available on the official website of the college.
The fees is somewhere around 1.8 lacs per year for a general category student. Well, the amount is more or less same as any other private institute. But the benefits received here are much unique and better than others, I suppose. It is perfectly "value-for-money" education you take here.
The extra-curricular activities present in college are too many. Students would never fall short of engaging in any type of activity. There are somewhere around 37 clubs in all in the college. All of these have their own regular activities in which everyone is free to participate. Besides, academic events are also there. There are various student exchange programs to get experience of foreign education and also adds to your CV.
With an 80 percentile in JEE Main 2025 and being an SC candidate from Maharashtra, you have a good chance of getting into a decent engineering college, especially for mid-tier branches. While you may not be guaranteed a top-tier college like COEP or PICT, there are still good options within and outside Pune. VIT Pune and other private colleges in Mumbai could also be possibilities.
JEE Main Percentile & SC Category:
An 80 percentile is considered above average, and as an SC candidate, this can be a good foundation for admission to several engineering colleges.
COEP & PICT:
These are highly sought-after institutions, and admission is typically competitive, even for reserved categories. While you might not get your first choice, it's worth exploring the possibility of getting into these colleges through state-level counseling or special quotas.
VIT Pune:
VIT Pune is a reputable private engineering college with good placement records. Your 80 percentile should put you in a good position for admission, especially if you consider non-CSE branches,
Private Colleges in Mumbai:
Explore options like MIT World Peace University (MIT WPU) or Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Engineering in Pune. You can also look at other private colleges in Mumbai like Vishwakarma Institute, and DJ Sanghvi, which are known for their MHT CET-based admissions.
Consider MHT CET:
Many Maharashtra engineering colleges, including COEP, primarily use MHT CET scores for admissions. If you haven't taken MHT CET, consider it as an additional option, as it can improve your chances of admission.
Explore Other Options:
Don't limit yourself to just the colleges you mentioned. There are many other reputable engineering colleges in Maharashtra and across India that you can explore, particularly if you consider mid-tier branches.
Supernumerary Seats:
Some colleges offer supernumerary seats for students who have not been admitted through the regular counseling process, but have demonstrated a strong academic record.
Hi there
hope you are doing well
Yes absolutely you can pursue MS while applying in any University while fulfilling the eligibility criteria without worrying about that you are from whichever engineering background, but you need to build strong profile in CS field.
You must have to build knowledge among the subjects like:
also build coding skills like (solving DSA problems) and building projects, also gets certification on CS based courses (online\offline).
hope this will help you.
