Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) is a full-time four-year undergraduate course offered by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

This course includes 1 year of internship after completion of third year in Vittala International Institute of Ophthalmology in specialties like contact lens, low vision, binocular vision and dispensing.


Eligibility Criteria

PUC /12th Standard in PCMB / PCMC / PCME / PCM / PCB or 2 / 3 years of Diploma in Optometry 

Candidates should be of minimum 17 years of age as on December of the year of admission

Admission Details

Selection will be based on percentage of Marks obtained in qualifying exam, performance in the personal interview and also on first come first basis.
