Application Process
The steps included for admission into VPR College of Education, Kamalapuram, are:
1. Entrance Examination

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed. program is a full-time professional program offered by VPR College of Education for two years and it has an intake of students totaling to 100. Admission for this program is conducted on the basis of Ed.CET conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Therefore, it is mandatory for candidates to possess a bachelor's degree to fulfill the requirements for the eligibility of taking Ed.CET. Based on Ed.CET merit, centralized counseling fills 70% of the total seats (100 seats). Following that, the reservation rules will be applied. The remaining 25% (25 seats) are filled by the management from Ed.CET qualified candidates.
D.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.Ed. program is two years duration full time and has 50 seats. Admissions into this course will also be done on the basis of the DEECET (Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test). The minimum qualification required for applying for DEECET is passing the intermediate course in the respective concerned subjects. The admission procedure gives 80% of seats (50 seats) to centralized counseling on the basis of DEECET merit, and management fills 20% (10 seats) from qualified DEECET candidates.
