Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS-Kannur) is one of the eminent educational institutions situated in Kannur, Kerala. Admissions are offered to students on the basis of their merit in the qualifying exam, where no separate entrance examinations are conducted. Application Process

The application procedure for WIRAS Kannur is easy and consists of the following:

3. Make sure all documents required are gathered. The following are usually required:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Com Computer Applications: This course has an intake capacity of 60 students combining commerce education with computer applications admission based on marks obtained by the student at the 10+2 exams, commerce, or mathematics subject being given priority.

B.Com Co-Operation: This course has an intake of 40 students, specializing in cooperative management. The candidates with a commerce background in their 10+2 have been given preference in the admission process.

BBA: The Bachelor of Business Administration program has an intake of 40 students. The admission is based on the performance of the candidate in the 10+2 examination, especially with regard to the aptitude of the candidate in business studies.

B.Sc Psychology: 32 seats are available for the students wishing to pursue the study of psychology. Admission is granted according to the marks in the 10+2 examination, with preference to students studying psychology or related subjects.

BCA: This course offers 32 seats for candidates in bachelor's in computer application. Preferred are those candidates who are strong in mathematics and computer science in their 10+2.

B.Sc Chemistry: 30 seats that may be offered to students with a passion for chemistry. Admission is based on marks acquired in the 10+2 examination, especially considering performance in chemistry and mathematics.

BA English: This course has an intake of 30 students. It is a program that is a treat for the literature lovers. Admission to the program is granted based on the marks attained in English and relevant subjects in the 10+2 examination.

BBA Logistics (Hons): Specialized program with 30 seats in Logistics management. Admission is based on the marks in 10+2 with preference given to candidates who show an aptitude in business and logistics.

M.Com Finance: This is a 20-seat Master's program intended for commerce graduates desiring specialization in finance. Admission will be granted on the basis of marks of the applicant in the bachelor's degree with preference for those holding B.Com.

M.Sc Counseling Psychology: A 20-seat program ideal for graduates in psychology who are interested in counseling. Admission depends on the applicant's degree performance in psychology.

M.Sc Chemistry: A 15-seat Master's program for graduates in chemistry. Admission will be based on an applicant's degree performance in chemistry.

M.Sc Applied Psychology: A specialized program with 12 seats for practical applications of psychology. Admission would be based on applicant's degree performance in psychology along with relevant experience.
