Women's Institute of Engineering and Technology admission process takes into account the varied parameters of merit and the academic competence of applicants to facilitate entrance of the new generation of Indian engineers from all over the world.

In the first instance, four B.Tech branches are offered. These are Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Depending upon the admission procedure, WIET admission process will commence with either July-August in respective years, which coincides with the academic year.

Women's Institute of Engineering and Technology admission process criteria for entry at WIET are 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Women's Institute of Engineering and Technology institute has been endowed with AICTE approval, and thus, is bound to comply with almost all eligibility norms accorded by AICTE following one of its standards and rules for engineering admissions in praction; hence, there is an aggregate of primary percentages, that is, the qualifying examination should attain 45% (40% for reserved categories).

WIET application process for admission goes as follows:

  • When the admission for the candidates is open, first go to the official website of WIET so that you can gain access to the online application form.
  • Fill in the online application form with valid personal data, academic qualification information, and contact addresses.
  • Attach essential documents, which are likely to be.
  • The application fee is to be paid in a deposited mode of payment (details would be available in the application portal).
  • After successfully submitting the application form, an online printout is made for future reference.
  • Wait for notification about the learned merit list or call for counseling, being published through the institute website, or via email/SMS.
  • If shortlisted, report to the WIET campus on a date fixed for counseling with all original documents for verification.
  • Pay the admission fee to secure the seat for the preferred B.Tech course, after the verification of documents and allotment of the seat.
  • Complete the rest of the admission formalities, including submission of the migration certificate, transfer certificate, and any other documents required by the institute.

For all B.Tech programmes, a candidate is expected to have completed higher secondary school or equivalent examination with compulsory subjects being Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
