Hello dear, yes there is a resionable possibility that you can get admission in BHU. And below I have attached the cutoff of M.Sc BHU, see it and you will get the idea.

With 388 general rank in the BHU PET, you can be rest assured of the admission in the MA English course as the cut off rank generally is as high as 500-600. As far as getting main campus is concerned. I don't think there's much chance, but yes it all depends on the cut off, if it goes lower then you do have a chance of getting main campus too. According to last year cut off of BHU PET programm , you have very less chance to get admission in main campus , but you must  be wait for 2nd or 3rd round counciling . But the chance of admission is very less .  You can apply for some other university like DU and state university for MA / M.Sc. geology .

As you mentied  your marks and category here . You have full chance of get admission in main  campus of BHU . You will also get main campus hostel facility . It necessary to after declaration of result you need to follow proper counciling procedure for admission . You have  need to all the original documents at the time of admission .

You need to visit BHU official website regularly for further updates .

It becomes tougher and tougher the further you rank in the Banaras Hindu University PET for any subject. Banaras Hindu University is a very popular institution and has high competition. So considering the fact that you have ranked in 1000s it is difficult for you to get a seat in that university but your female rank is a light of hope for you, so you can wait to see if you receive the call letter or not. You should look for other Universities meanwhile.

If you got overall 7th rank in  BHU PET philosophy exam . So , you easily get admission in main campus of BHU . According to last year cut off of M.A. philosophy ,  you can also get easily hostel accommodation.

Last year the cut off rank of BHU for M.com course in the Univesity  was 297. As you have got the general rank 107, you can be rest assured of getting admission in the Univesity. If you have got 477 general rank in BHU PET in statistics then this is what the case can be. There could be another meaning to this which is that there might be students who have got more positives than negatives as compared to the ratio that you scored in the exam.

the competition is very tough and the seats are comparatively very less..with your rank it is difficult to expect a call letter from Banaras Hindu University. It is usually upto 500 rank that students can still have good amount of expectation of getting a seat in Banaras Hindu university for Masters in any course. It is better if you start looking for other universities other than bhu.
