Candidates interested in Marine engineering in CUSAT need to give Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test (CUSAT CAT). Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Marine Engineering is a full-time four years duration course Affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi Approved by AICTE. Admissions will be based on the rank in the admission test, conducted for the purpose. Selected candidates will have to undergo remedial courses as decided by the University.

As from your profile it seems you're an engineering aspirant, hence I believe your query is for BTech, the eligibility criteria is passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics securing 60% aggregate, and 50% in English is mandatory, there is relaxation of 5% for SC/ST though not in English subject, the entrance test is conducted for three hours in English carrying 200 questions and it consists of  sections such as English/General aptitude/Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics, there is no negative marking scheme.

To be eligible for IMU CET the candidate should score minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent exam. Additionally, minimum 50% marks in English is also mandatory. So if you have the required marks and the subjects you will be eligible for IMU CET even if you have passed from RBSE.
