Further, the details for the IMU CET Exam pattern is mentioned below :
Mode of the examination is Computer Based Mode and the total duration of the examination is about 3 hours. The type of Questions will be MCQ's (multiple Choice Questions) and the subject wise distribution of questions is as follows;
English - 25 Questions
General Knowledge - 25 Questions
General Aptitude - 25 Questions
Chemistry - 25 Questions
Mathematics - 50 Questions
Physics - 50 Questions
Further, the total number of questions will be 200 and there will be no negative markings for any incorrect answers.

No you are not eligible for IMU CET.
This is because one needs to have at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 but you have only 53% so you are not eligible for IMU CET.

The syllabus of Indian Maritime University common entrance test is mention below along with the questions allocated to the subjects:
Each of the subjects English, general knowledge, and general aptitude carry 25 questions. However the Mathematics and Physics subjects carry 50 - 50 questions. The Indian Maritime University common entrance test will be a Computer based entrance exam.

But you can expect that the application form will be released shortly in the first week of may 2022 through online mode only. No, IMU CET is not required for Marine Engineering in CUSAT. Candidates interested in Marine engineering in CUSAT need to give Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test (CUSAT CAT). Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Marine Engineering is a full-time four years duration course Affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi Approved by AICTE. Admissions will be based on the rank in the admission test, conducted for the purpose. Selected candidates will have to undergo remedial courses as decided by the University.

The IMU CET exam is used to provide admission to IMU and affiliated institutes' B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA programmes, among others. It is based on HSC / PUC / Intermediate exams. 150 questions from physics, chemistry, mathematics, English, and general aptitude are included in the IMU CET question paper for B.Tech. The course is designed for students in grades 10+2. The MBA and M.Tech papers, on the other hand, feature 120 questions each, with varied syllabi.

Hope you are doing great. For PCM if you are perfect with your intermediate syllabus it is enough for the exam. For General Knowledge, Arihant publications is the best also, current affairs from study iq you tube channel, gives the best news, also referring Hindu news paper is enough. For, English subject, objective general English by Bakshi is best, and finally for quantitative aptitude, S. Chand book by R. S Aggarwal is the best.
