KCET 2025 - The Karnataka Examination Authority will soon declare the KCET 2025 result on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. To download the KCET result 2025, candidates will need their application number and password. The result of KCET 2025 will be available in the form of a scorecard. Candidates must enter their 12th standard marks during this period for the calculation of the KCET 2025 scores. The authority has concluded the offline document verification for KCET 2025 on May 20, 2025. The KCET 2025 marks entry process was released on May 7, 2025.
Candidates who clear the exam will be called for the KCET counselling 2025. The counselling process includes. registration, choice filling, KCET seat allotment seat acceptance and fee payment. The authority will release the KCET 2025 counselling on the official website. The authority has declared the KCET 2025 Kannada language score list on April 25, 2025.

The authority released the KCET 2025 final answer keys on April 25, 2025. According to the notification, changes have been made in the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology answer keys, while the Mathematics answer key remains unchanged. The Karnataka CET 2025 exam was conducted on April 15, 16 & 17, 2025. Candidates can use the final KCET 2025 answer keys to determine their score in the exam.

What is the KCET Exam?
Karnataka Examination Authority conducts the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) every year for admission to Engineering, Architecture, Medical and Pharma programs. KCET is a state-level exam conducted in offline mode in English and Kannada medium for 1 hour and 20 minutes for each section across various exam centres. The admission process comprises registration, appearing for the exam, qualifying the test, and participating in the counselling process. Candidates who qualify the Karnataka CET will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The eligible candidates will be given admission to 198 participating institutes of KCET (including government-aided and private ones).

KEA has released the KCET 2025 eligibility along with the official brochure of the entrance examination on the official website. The eligibility criteria of KCET 2025 exam include the requirements that a candidate needs to meet in order to appear for the entrance examination.

KCET BE Eligibility criteria:
The candidate must be an Indian National.
Candidates must have passed 2nd PUC/class 12th/equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Electronics/Computer Science with English as a language subject.
Students must have secured 45% in their qualifying examination and 40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates.
Also, candidates should have studied for a minimum of 7 years and passed from a recognized institute in Karnataka.
The eligibility for admission to KCET B. Pharm courses is given below:
Candidates must have qualified 2nd PUC or class 12th examination with PCM or PCB subjects.
General candidates must have secured 45% aggregate while reserved categories i.e. Category-I, OBC, and ST/SC should secure 40% to apply for KCET 2025.

Candidates must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy for government-approved and general candidates should have scored 45% while SC/ST categories and Category-I and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) must secure 40%.
NOTE: For admission to Government seats, candidates must fulfill any one of the eligible clauses as prescribed by KCET.
For admission to KCET B.Sc. Hons. Agriculture candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as prescribed by KEA. Candidates have to pass in 2nd PUC/Class 12th/equivalent exam from a recognized board along with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and an optional subject as Biology to be eligible for KCET 2025.
Candidates must fulfill any one of the eligible clauses as prescribed by KCET in case of admission to Government seats.
The Karnataka Examination Authority has concluded the KCET 2025 registration on February 24, 2025. The registration link for KCET 2025 was activated on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates who met the eligibility criteria for KCET 2025 were able to fill out the application form. Registered candidates can pay the KCET 2025 application fee by February 25, 2025. Step 1 - Document Verification and Registration- Candidates will have to get their documents verified at the specified centres. Candidates will be given a unique ID and password after successful verification.
Step 2 - Choice Filling and Locking- Next, candidates will have to log in to the system using the User Id and password. After login, candidates will have to fill in their choices of institutes and courses. Candidates will be allowed to add, modify, and delete choices. Candidates must lock their choices before the last date otherwise the system will automatically lock the choices. No changes can be made to the choices after locking.
Step 3 - Allotment of Seats- After this, the authorities will first release the mock seat allotment result of KCET. The mock allotment is conducted to let the candidates know their chances of admission based on their merit and preferred seats. The candidates will be able to change their choices after the mock allotment result is announced. Candidates will be able to check their allotment status in online mode by logging in using their CET number.
Step 4 - Reporting at Allotted Institutes- The candidates who will be allotted seats will have to report to the allotted institute to confirm their seat and payment of admission fees.
The process will be held offline and will be held at the KEA office, Malleswaram, Bangalore. Candidates belonging to NCC, sports, defence, ex-defence, scouts and guides, CAPF, ex-CAPF and Anglo-Indian categories must submit the documents as per the day wise schedule.
Along with the special category certificates, students should also submit the final printout of the application form and KCET 2025 hall ticket copy. Candidates claiming eligibility under NCC and SPORTS should also submit a photocopy of the study certificates as per the brochure issued by the head of the educational institution for having studied and passed the qualifying examination in the state of Karnataka.
Also, candidates claiming the benefit under various special categories should submit the relevant original special category certificates along with the two sets of copies compulsorily as per the schedule. Along with this, students should also have three photocopies of their KCET 2025 admission tickets.
