For B.Tech aspirants, the KEAM exam is conducted for 960 marks. There is a negative marking in the exam where a minus 1 mark is applicable for each wrong attempt. There will be 50% weightage for Class 12 marks in preparing the rank list and 50% weightage is given to entrance exam score. As per this weightage, the total marks in the entrance exam and board exams shall be computed to 600 marks.

Good KEAM score for Btech ( entrance exam+ board exam )

Total marks - 600

Very good score - 550+

Good score - 450+

Average score - 350+

Low score - 250 or below

Good KEAM score for Btech ( only entrance exam )

Total marks - 960

Very Good score - 900+

Good score - 750+

Average score - 600+

Good rank in KEAM for Btech

Very good rank - 1 - 5000

Good rank - 5001 - 20,000

Average rank - 20,001 - 50,000

Low rank - 50,001 or above

KEAM rank list will be released by CEE on August 15, 2022 at the official website. You need to login with your credentials to check the rank of qualified candidates. The rank list is prepared based on the marks obtained in KEAM entrance test and your board marks in ratio 50:50.

Now when we look into 2021 trend, you could come in rank within 10k, if you score 300. You will get admission in any government college for range of 10k. But if you want to get admission in top branches like mechanical, cse etc you need to score more. You need to score above  450. Always remember this is based on previous year trend.
