I got 231 on keam and i have 95.6% in cbse class 12th. How much rank can i expect ?

Akanksha 10th Aug, 2021
Hii

Congratulations for your good score in class 12th.
As you have scored 231 marks out of 960, looking on to previous year's trends you can expect a rank around 12,000-18,000 in KEAM. However for getting into top branches in top colleges you should have a rank below 1000. To get this rank you should score more than 450 marks out of 960.
Your scores are a bit low for getting into top branches in top colleges but that doesn't mean you can't get good colleges. You can still get admission in good colleges depending upon the branch you prefer.

You can get a detailed report of round wise cutoffs for different colleges from the link given below:

You can use our college predictor tool to predict the colleges which you may get with your rank using the link given below:

sir, I have 50 marks in keam what will be my rank i have 96.85 percentage in pcm but this year that doesnt mean much. so how much will be my estimated rank

Akanksha 10th Aug, 2021
Hello Aspirant

Congratulations for your good performance in class 12th. Now as your KEAM scores are low, your overall rank will be affected. With a score of 50 marks out of 960 marks, you can expect a rank around 35,000-50,000.

To get into top colleges with branches such as CSE, IT or ECE, you need to score minimum of 650 marks or above in KEAM 2021. For other branches such as Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering you need a minimum score of 500 marks or above if you are seeking for top colleges.

With a score of 50 marks it is difficult to get into top colleges with any of the above marks.
You can try for private colleges with your marks or else you can even try to score well in other entrance exams which are considered for taking admission into various engineering colleges.

Hope this helps
Good Luck

Im a 2021 KEAM candidate. What should I do during the two hour lunch break in between the two shifts. We are not allowed to socialize. Should we sit idle?

Ayush 3rd Aug, 2021

Hello candidate,

In the interval of two hour lunch break between the two ships of Karnataka entrance examination, are not allowed to socialize or mix with each others because of the covid-19 protocols imposed by the state as well as the central government for avoiding contamination as far as possible.

So, the best thing which we can do in these two hours is to revise or you can even take light snacks in between in order to refill your energy level and make yourself fresh and mentally active for the next session of examination.

Hope you found it helpful. If you have any further queries feel free to post it here!!

Because only 2years study in Delhi, you are not domicile candidate in Delhi. So you can mention you as Uttar Pradesh domicile candidate.

I didnt submit caste certificate or other certificate in keam . will it affect to qualify keam. and i forget whether the opton for obc was in it and whether i ticked it.

Atul Singh 1st Aug, 2021

Dear Student,

If you haven't choose your category and you belong to OBC they you will be counted as a general student and the you need to clear the general cutoff to get the seat in any campus. Or by default general category was selected and you haven't change that that's why from now you will be counted as a general student in he whole process of admission and the 4 year duration o the college.

Good Luck!!!
