I got 37 mark in keam and 1117 marks in 12th(99% in +2 alone) and I belong to SC category , will I get a good college for civil engineering?

Abhi S 2nd Sep, 2021

Hello aspirant

It is very difficult to predict the keam rank because the rank depends on many other  factors like no of students, difficulty of exam ,no of qualified candidates,  percentage of students in their higher secondary school all this depends on the rank . As you have a reservation and you have got a higher score in the higher secondary class there is chance that you can civil engineering in the colleges.

I have 143/960 in keam.My PCM scores are maths-120/120, physics-110/120, chemistry-120/120. What will be my expected rank? Can I get into a government college? Please help!

Ayush Roy 1st Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant. I hope you are in good health. Its really difficult to predict exact range of rank where you may end up as cutoff trend and common rank list varies significantly each and every year. However, as per your results, your rank may be around 16414. If the exams are simple/hard then actual ranks can differ in a higher margin. Moreover, you haven't mentioned your caste so I assume you are a General (State Merit) candidate. According to previous years' data, you may have good chances in few public/government institutes such as:

  1. Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram
  2. Government Engineering College, Wayanad
  3. College of Engineering, Chengannur
  4. Government Engineering College, Idukki
  5. LBS Institute of Technology for Women, Thiruvananthapuram
  6. College of Engineering, Adoor
  7. College of Engineering, Thalassery
  8. College of Engineering, Perumon
  9. University College of Engineering, Kariavattom
  10. College of Engineering, Vadakara

and more...

If you want to know your eligibility in various colleges based on your performance at KCEAM, feel free to use KEAM 2021 College Predictor:

please tell medical universities and colleges that hold their own exam even after neet is qualified like IPU, KEAM.

rajeevanand843 24th Aug, 2021

Dear aspirant

There are no medical university or college who are authorised to take another exam other than NEET.

Neet is the only exam to get admission in MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BAMS etc. In any government, private or deemed university of India. You will have to write only neet to get admission in any medical College of India.

Although after neet examination counselling is held at Central level, state level and institutional level on the basis of neet marks.

As you have mentioned about IPU so this university take counselling on the basis of neet marks to fill the seat in medical College associated with IPU University.

Next KEAM, so it is state level counselling for addmission in medical College of state Kerala. By registering and participating in KEAM counselling you can take admission in government or private medical colleges of Kerala.

Like wise there is AIQ counseling taken by MCC for 15% seat of all government medical College in india.

Different state medical council held counselling for 85% seat of state quota. To participate in counselling every state have different eligibility criteria.

So don't get confused in counselling and entrance exam.

NEET is the single exam for medical College all over India and there is no other exam than this.

Hope I may have resolved your query

All the best !!
