I am a 12th undergoing student preparing for NATA should i write the Keam exam to get into govt colleges in kerala to get a barch seat

Shrishty sahu 31st Jan, 2021
Dear student,
I would suggest you to appear for keam also just for a back up. You should have a back up with you so that if unfortunately you do not perform well in nata then you have the options of getting colleges in Kerala through keam. It is not bad to apply for more examinations, it just gives you more options to choose from and you would get a better possibility of landing into a good college.

Which Rank Range I should obtain in Keam 2021 to get admission in B.TECH computer science in top govt engg collages in Kerala?

Anuj More 19th Jan, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

The rack range that you can aim for BTech CSE in KEAM exam varies from private colleges to government colleges. Still I'll try to give you an estimate of the rank range you should be aiming for better chances of admission in CSE.

Kindly note that this is based on last year's state cut-off rank & is subject to changes.

College of Engg, Trivandrum - 479

TKM Clg of Engg, Kollam - 113

Government Model Engg College, Thrikkakra - 1305

Government College of Engg, Kannur - 4100

& MANY MORE COLLEGES..

I'd say somewhere in the range of 500-2500 will give you good colleges for CSE.

Thanks. Hope it helps.

I have 85% marks in PCM in state board, how can i get into a good engineering college and how much marks should i score in KEAM in order to secure a good rank?

ayanmukherjee045 21st Feb, 2021

Dear aspirant,

There is nothing to do with pcm aggregate 85% percentage in state board as admission in engineering colleges would be totally on the basis of entrances . So you need to do really well in the entrance to secure a good college seat in the keam entrance.

my parents have done intercaste marriage and my father is sc and mother is obc, i have a sc community certificate, should i upload intercaste marriage certificate also for keam registeration

Shruti Smaranika 6th Jan, 2021

Hello aspirant,

There's no need for uploading inter caste marriage certificate for KEAM registration. Only the candidate's caste certificate is asked for during the registration. Though your mother if from OBC category, that does not matter. What matters at the end is that if your father is from SC category, then you will be considered as a candidate from SC category only, not from OBC category. But just check the required documents like financial certificate, sports certificate if any, any other official documents, that's it which will be required for KEAM registration. Simple.

Hope, this information helps you.

did i need to register for keam.... and login or need to pay fee for writing neet and uploading my scores.....? Iam trying to get admission in b. sc agri in kerala....? did i need to write keam exam?

daniasufian2000 19th Jan, 2021

Hello candidate!

NEET marks won't get you an agriculture college. There are seperate exams held in order to get a seat to pursue B. Sc. in agriculture. These exams are -

  1. ICAR :This exam is held for all the agricultural universities/colleges throughout the country. All the agriculture colleges have 15 % reserved seats for students who clear this exam. Also there are some deemed universities which have 100% seats reserved for the students clearing this exam.
  2. BHU :It conducts its own university entrance exam for admissions in agriculture colleges in BHU.
  3. State Agriculture Test : Every state conducts its own exam for admissions to the agriculture colleges in its own state

Hope this helps you!
