SPSAT Exam 2025: Registration (Open), Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus, Preparation

As per the eligibility criteria of SPSAT 2025 for BCA admissions, candidates are required to have passed 10+2 in Science, Arts or Commerce from a recognised board with 50% marks.

The admission to all programmes will be done through SPSAT exam. The School of Management of the University offers BBA (General) and BBA (Tourism & Hospitality Management).

To apply for the SPSAT MBA 2025 test, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognised University with 50% marks (40% in case of backward classes, EWS, and PwD categories). 

The university also accepts scores in CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, and NMAT.

As per the eligibility criteria of SPSAT B.Tech 2025 exam for admissions to all B.Tech programmes, candidates are required to have passed 10+2 in Science from a recognised board with 50% marks.

The admission to all programmes will be done through the SPSAT exam. 

The School of Engineering of the University offers B.Tech programme in various specialisations such as Biotechnology, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.

The University offers various specialisations in M.Tech programme and the eligibility is different for each programme. Let's check the eligibility for all specialisations one by one. 

Biotechnology - Candidates need to have a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Engineering or equivalent as a regular student from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks.

Computer Science & Engineering - Graduation in CS&E or Electronics & Communication or equivalent. Also, candidates with M.Sc in Electronics or Physics or Mathematics or Computer Science or MCA from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks.

Electronics & Communication Engineering - Graduation in Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent or M.Sc. in Electronics or Physics from recognised University with minimum 50% marks.

Electrical Engineering - Graduation in Electrical Engineering or equivalent or M.Sc. in Electronics or Physics from recognized University with minimum 50% marks.

Mechanical Engineering - Graduation in Mechanical/ Production Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks.

Civil Engineering - For Environmental Engineering, B.E / B.Tech or AMIE in Civil / Chemical Engineering / Ceramic Engineering. Technology / Mechanical / Metallurgy / Mining / Environmental / Bio-Chemical Engineering / Bio-Technology with minimum 50% marks.

For Structural Engineering, Graduation in Civil Engineering or equivalent/ M.Sc. in Civil as a regular student from recognized University.

Mining Engineering - Graduation in Mining Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks.

For admissions to any of the M.Tech specialisation, candidates need to appear for SPSAT M.Tech 2025 exam. The university also accepts GATE scores.

The application form for SPSAT 2025 is available online. The application fee is common for all the courses i.e, Rs. 1200. Candidates can pay the fee online through credit/debit card and net banking. The application form filling process for SPSAT 2025 includes the following steps: 

• Visit admissions.spsu.ac.in.
• Complete the registration process by submitting basic details such as name, email id, mobile number, etc. 
• Once registration is done, log in to the portal and fill out other personal and academic details. 
• Next, upload the required documents as per specifications. 
• Finally, pay the application fee.

For every programme, the University will conduct a separate SPSAT exam. However, the exam pattern would be same for all the exams. The duration of SPSAT 2025 will be 60 minutes (1 hour). The test will have 40 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) carrying 1 mark each. Each exam will be divided into multiple sections. The sections will vary with the course. There is no negative marking in the exam.

As per the exam pattern of SPSAT 2025 exam for BCA admissions, the entrance exam will be divided into four sections - Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Knowledge, and English Language.

Each section will have 10 questions and the type of questions will be only Multiple Choice. 

The duration of the exam would be 1 hour (60 mins) and the total number of questions would be 40. 

There is no negative marking in the exam. So, candidates can attempt as many questions as they can.  

As per the exam pattern of SPSAT MBA 2025, the entrance exam will be divided into four sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Knowledge, and English Language.

As per the exam pattern of SPSAT B.Tech 2025, the entrance exam will be divided into four sections - Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English. The students who opt for B.Tech in Biotechnology will get Biology instead of Maths in the exam.

• There is no negative marking in the exam. So, candidates can attempt as many questions as they can.

As per the exam pattern of SPSAT 2025 M.Tech exam, the test will have 40 multiple choice questions (MCQ) to be solved in a duration of 60 minutes. The questions will be asked from the respective disciplines. The test will have four sections.

The University provides the mock test or sample question papers for each SPSAT exam on its official website. Solving the mock tests is the best way to prepare for the exam. Candidates can simply visit the website to download the official mock test of SPSAT 2025. Usually, each exam has 4 sections, and each section has 10 MCQs. It's a time-bound test of 60 minutes. Candidates need to solve all the questions in the given time frame.
