Yes, you can apply for St Xavier's BMS entrance. You need to apply for the exam the year you would be done with your 12 board exams. So suppose you are appearing for 12 board exams this year, you can apply for St Xavier's BMS entrance this year only. Also, you need to score a minimum aggregate of 65% marks in your 12 board exams. No candidate shall be eligible for admission after a lapse of more than three years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination. The year of admission will not be taken into account while calculating 3 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination.
For admission to all courses other than Bengali Honours, a student must have studied and passed in English in the +2 level. Admission of students failing in English or not having English will be cancelled (excluding the foreign students for whom there is a separate set of rules).

For BMS maths section you must be familiar with all the concepts taught till class 12th atleast. Practice as much questions as possible. The topics mainly asked are percentages, profit and loss, mixtures and allegations, time distance and speed, etc.

To your preparation to 11th std entrance exam you have not mentioned specifically for which Institute you want to apply for , so if you want to prepare for engineering and want to get into a good institution like fiitjee, you should make your base strong in physics, chemistry and mathematics.
On the contrary if you want to join any institution focused on medical preparation you should prepare well for Physics ,Chemistry, Biology well.
