The admissions for lateral entry will be done on the basis of upsee lateral entry examination. Only for admission to b tech courses in 1st year, upsee is scrapped off and the admissions will be done on the basis of jee mains otherwise for all the other courses the procedure will remain same.

Dear student,
The amount you have paid i.e. Rs. 20000 would be refunded back soon with a deduction of the administrative charges which is Rs. 2000 per round. You would get your money back soon. You need to be patient here. It usually takes 15-20 days for the refund to be processed to your bank account.

Upsee counseling me PI Reported candidate kya hota hai.

Dear student,
After a student has frozen his seat, he has to physically report at the PI which is his allotted college with the required documents and the remaining fees. PI reported candidates are the ones who have reported to the Institute after they were allotted their seats.

UPSEE 2020 Lateral entry will be conducted for admission to second-year degree engineering courses in Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, candidates should always check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam( generally candidate with diploma).After the declaration of result, the authorities will release a merit list.

Hello Aspirant,

According to the category and rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the colleges through UPSEE counselling even in spot round as per the latest cut-offs upto Round 4 which you can check out from the link given below :-

But yes you can go for private colleges which take direct admission either on the basis of class 12th score or on the basis of low UPSEE Rank.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

Dear student,

Every counselling process of uptu is conducted online. And you don't have to go anywhere for the counselling process. Only for reporting at the allotted colleges you need to go to the colleges, also you have to get your documents verified there.

when will UPSEE counseling begins for mtech candidates?

Hi aspirant!!

As per the schedule the last date for application form is August 30 and there is no official update till now. Upsee take admission on the basis of gate and upsee exam rank. So stay active for official notice about the counselling . Keep in mind it consists of 4 rounds ( spot round included).
