3. Jahangirabad Educational Trust's Group of Institutions, Faculty of Engineering- Closing rank- 50000

Usually, for the top 10 ranked colleges, according to previous trends, the lowest the CS cutoff went was 3939 for the Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology. Now, it all boils down to your choice. You might not get a really good college if you choose CS, according to previous trends. Since your documents are verified, you are eligible for the first round counselling but for the completion of first round counselling, choice locking is necessary so that you can go to second round counseling with those choices. So if the first round counselling is incomplete, you cannot go for the second round. All the events have tentative dates you may keep an information of, to not to miss an update. Check the official website of UPSEE to know more.

Abhi , From some research on internet I found that, Yes you can change your preference or choice of subject in the second or last round of your upsee counselling because at the time of last or second counsel many students take admission in other private colleges so seats are vacant.

According to the Eligibilty Criteria of UPSEE, the candidate must have passed the qualifying exam (10+2) from UP Board or any other equivalent Board, with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category) in aggregate in three subjects, out of which Mathematics and Physics are compulsory, and the third subject is optional (Chemistry/Bio Technology/Biology / Technical Vocational subject), which in your case is Chemistry . Also, qualifying exam should be passed without any grace marks.

So, in your case, I think it is not possible to get admission in CSE branch in AKTU colleges. However, if there is any provision under management quota in any college, you can go for it.

See, locking the filled choices is one of the important procedures during admission and counselling sessions. Though you've done in registration in UPSEE/UPTU/AKTU and got your documents verified and missed the choice filling for valid reasons, if in case you didn't find your preferable choices, then you need to appear in the second round of counselling process. Generally, document verification isn't asked if it is once verified yet still if the officials in case ask for the verification of documents, then you must get it done. No further registration is also required. You must fill up your choices and lock it. This is because if you have secured a seat in the alter round of counselling process, then the seat allotted in the earlier round of counselling will be cancelled of its own.
