I got 189 rank in integrated mtech course at VIT. Cab i get a good branch?

gopi 4th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Having secured an All India Rank of 189 in the Integrated M. Tech course in VIT, you stand an excellent chance at getting a good branch. VIT usually offers branches like CSE with specialization in AI/ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity and Software Engineering for top ranking students. Given that your state rank is within 200, you should find yourself eligible for the most sought after branches in the first round itself. You're guaranteed to at least meet the cut-off for the most sought after branches. That said, the final allotment will depend on the number of applicants, their preferences, and number of seats available, so make sure to be smart about what you list in terms of your top preferences.

sir i have got 6500 rank in vit integrated mtech course can i get into chennai, ap or bhopal

gopi 4th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

With 6500 rank in VIT Integrated M. Tech, you have good chances to get VIT-AP or VIT Bhopal as they generally have a large intake capacity and comparatively lower cutoff. Getting VIT Chennai will be difficult as typically it has a higher closing rank, and it also has a lot of competition. Nevertheless, you should really wait for the official counselling rounds, as the cutoffs change every year by a small margin depending on how many students apply, seat availability, etc.

Hello I am nmims cet aspirant . I was not able to download the admit card due to which I was unable to give the exam . I am really stressed out please tell me I still got a chance to figure things out . I was aiming for pharma tech mba course

Kishan Bhakat 29th Jun, 2025

Hi, first of all, take a deep breath—it’s completely normal to feel stressed in such situations, but there’s still a way forward.

If you missed the NMIMS CET exam because you couldn’t download the admit card, the first thing you should do is immediately contact the NMIMS admissions helpdesk . Explain your situation clearly—mention your application ID, registered email ID, and the exact issue you faced (like not receiving the admit card or not being able to access it on the portal). Sometimes, if it was a technical issue and you have a valid reason, they might allow you to reschedule the exam, especially if multiple test slots are available.

However, if all CET test windows have closed, you may not be able to appear this year. Still, don’t lose hope. NMIMS offers admissions through other routes like NPAT for UG management and commerce programs , or direct admission based on board scores for certain courses (depending on the stream you were aiming for—like BBA, BTech, etc.).

Also, look out for spot admissions or management quota seats , if your family is comfortable with that option financially. And if NMIMS is your top choice, remember—you can always aim again next year with better preparation and awareness of the timelines.

Lastly, don’t let one missed exam define your future. There are plenty of great colleges and entrance exams still open this year depending on your stream

I got 962 marks in ipe and 1lakh above rank in vitee should I expect a seat in vit integrated course in Vellore

Snahel Patra 2nd Jun, 2025

Yes, with a VITEEE 2025 rank above 1 lakh and 962 marks in your Intermediate Public Examination (IPE), you have a viable chance of securing admission into VIT's 5-year Integrated M.Tech programs, particularly at the VIT-AP (Amaravati) and VIT Bhopal campuses.

  • VITEEE Rank : Candidates with ranks above 1 lakh are eligible for admission to the VIT-AP and VIT Bhopal campuses only .

  • Academic Qualifications : For Integrated M.Tech programs, VIT considers your Class 12 (or equivalent) marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). The minimum aggregate requirements are:

    • VIT-AP and VIT Bhopal : 65% in PCM .

  • Your score of 962 in IPE suggests a strong academic performance, which should meet the eligibility criteria.

I wanted to know that can I do bls llb through regular mode from Mumbai university and bsw course though online distance education from ignou simultaneously??

Kishan Bhakat 1st Jun, 2025

hi,

Yes, you can do BLS LLB in regular mode from Mumbai University and at the same time pursue BSW from IGNOU through distance education. Since BLS LLB is a full-time course, it will require your regular attendance and commitment. But IGNOU’s BSW is flexible because it’s online and lets you study at your own pace, so you can manage both if you plan your time well. Just keep in mind that BLS LLB has attendance rules, so you have to be careful not to miss classes. Overall, it’s possible but will need good time management and dedication.

If I graduated from DU in 2024, and enrolled in an online Diploma course with IGNOU for one year- June 2024-July-2025. I am now applying for PG in MA english from DU. Will this be considered as a gap year? Or not? URGENT

Samriddha Pal 1st Jun, 2025

Hello,

No, this will not be considered a gap year.

Since you graduated from Delhi University in 2024 and simultaneously enrolled in a one-year online diploma course with IGNOU (June 2024 – July 2025), you were engaged in academic learning during that period. Even though the course is online, it is recognized by a central university (IGNOU), and this counts as an educational activity—not a break in your academic timeline.

So, when you apply for PG in MA English from DU, this period will be seen as a continuous academic engagement, not a gap year. Just be sure to mention your IGNOU diploma enrollment in your application or CV, if required.

Hope this helps. All the best!
