It is better that you begin with DC Pandey for Mechanics if it is your weak point. Because the concepts are explained in a very easy and lucid manner in DC Pandey, as well as, solution for every question is provided. Once you have formed a grip over Mechanics, you can move on to HC Verma for concepts of higher order. Beginning rightaway with HC Verma isn't  a good idea as it consists of very high  order thinking skills' questions, which can badly confuse a student who is already weak in Mechanics.

Go according to the order of the contents of the book. Ofcourse, start with class 11th syllabus. Do the chapters of each subject, in the same order as given in the book.
