Sir.... I failed in physics (45 marks) but I passed in Biology and chemistry with 55 marks. Am I eligible for neet 2020

Ashish Pal Student Expert 20th Jun, 2019

Hello Jyotimoy Deka.

If you failed this year don't worry apply private intermediate again and later next year you can again appear for NEET as an appearing candidate. In this way subject doesn't matter in which you fail or pass. Just prepare hard this year and bounce back strongly next year. Good luck

Varsha Mishra 19th Jun, 2019

Hiiii dear!!!! All you need to to be eligible to appear for the neet exam is that you should have passed your 12th standard with a minimum aggregate score of 40% of PCB subjects from any recognised board. If you have fulfilled this criteria then you can surely appear for the neet examination.

is bsc physics major passed students are eligible to read pg in biotechnology

NILUTPOL Student Expert 19th Jun, 2019
Hello,
Yes. You can do. But many universities will not allow you. However there are some universities where you can get admission for M.Sc Biotechnology after completion of B.Sc in Physics.
You need to appear for the Entrance Exam to get admission for this course.
Each and every university will conduct its own Entrance Exam to give admission for the candidates for this course.
But I don't think its a good career choice for you.
Having completed B.Sc in Physics, you might not be having Biotechnology as one of the subject.
Without having previous subject knowledge, even if you opt for M.Sc Biotechnology, it will be difficult for you to understand the subject and the terminology.
In addition, the boom for Biotechnology is not good in India.
But if you are very much interested to join this course, you can join that.
Wish you all the best.

Need an advice on MCAT (International student).

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th Jul, 2019
MCAT is a computerised exam conducted by American Association of Medical Colleges to get into a medical school abroad in countries like US, Canada and Australia. Youare eligible to take this exam if you intend to attend a health professional school that includes Allopathic, Osteopathic, Podiatric and Veterinary Medicine. However do drop a mail to [email protected] explaining the reason why you want to take the exam. MCAT tests your understanding in fundamentals of Chemistry, Psychology, Sociology, Physics and Chemistry along with problem solving and critical thinking skills. So though these are easy to understand and read, taking few extra classes can boost your score.

My BHU PET Plant Biotechnology General rank around 80 and EWS Categrey rank 09 Should I eligible for Counselling & Admission ?

icipshita Student Expert 29th Jun, 2019

EWS quota has 10% reservation and with a rank of 09 in that category it seems like you have a very sure chance of getting admission in BHU with Masters in Plant Biotechnology. A general rank of 80 and EWS category rank of 09 should get you admission in the main campus of Banaras Hindu University itself and that too in the very first round of counselling. Congratulations on such a good rank!
