I have nata score 138 and aggregate in state board is 62 but in physics 43,chemistry 47 and in mathematics only 40. I am obc student

SOURIN ROY 20th Jun, 2019

Hello,

Hope you are doing well.

According to the council of architecture, the minimum aggregate required in 10+2 is 50% both in overall and individual PCM.

This criterion is valid irrespective of whatever category someone belongs to.

So I am sorry to say that although you have decent marks in NATA, you aren't eligible for B.Arch courses since your PCM marks is less than 50%.

Good Luck!

I scored 35 marks in physics, 41 marks in chemistry and 43 marks in biology in my 12th board exam. Am I eligible for neet 2020?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 17th Jun, 2019
Dear Rozal, you havent mentioned your Category. Neverthless, you should individually pass in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also score an aggregate of 50% in these 3 subjects. It is 50% if you belong to General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for SC,ST,OBC. You unfortubately do not meet the aggregate criteria irrwspective of your Category. You might have to reappear for these subjects and improve your aggregate to be eligible for NEET 2020.

Do civil engineering graduate eligible for MCA?

Aakansha david 17th Jun, 2019
Hello shubham.

MCA means Masters in computer applications which is a postgraduate course.
As you per the eligibility criteria for MCA "yes" you are definitely eligible for MCA.

But usually after B.Tech people go for M.Tech.
MCA is equivalent to B.Tech.
Instead go for M.Tech (CSE). You can do M. Tech CSE by cleaning GATE exam in CS.

There are many students with non CS background cleaning GATE exam with a good score with just 1 year full time preparation.

Rest the final decision is only upto you.

Hope this will help you!!
Good luck.
