Vidit Patni 11th Jun, 2019

Dear Ashna,

Based on your rank and previous years trends, I am afraid that you probably won't be able to get government colleges in Pharmacy stream!

But you can still wait for the counselling process to begin as the trends can change this year.

My rank in upsee is 35000 in general category whether I eligible to get good govt college for chemical engineering. And what are those coll

Bhawana Sinha Student Expert 10th Jun, 2019
Based  on your rank  you are not supposed to  get a government College in chemical engineering. You can get a private Colleges if you want to take admission in these Colleges. The Colleges where you can take admission are:
1. Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology
2. Lovely Professional University
3. Shiv Nadar University Greater Noida.
These are the private Colleges where you can get admission in chemical engineering. There are few Colleges of UPTU having chemical engineering. So you have to struggle more. It also depends on the cutoff list. The cutoff list vary from year to year. It also depends on the number of students appeared in the exam and the level of paper whether it is easy , moderate or difficult. You can come to know about different Colleges by visiting their respective websites. You can even predict your college according to your rank. As you are in general category you are not getting any extra advantage. As your general rank is not so good so you cannot able to get a college.
You can even dropped this year if you want to get a good College.  And you can do preparation for the UPTU exam this year and attempt it next year. So you can get good rank and able to get College of your choice. Otherwise you have to do your counselling properly. Give your preference in the first round of counselling and further give the name of the Colleges based upon your rank. So that you can get a college.

I am failed in 12th physics theory paper i am eligible for NEET or not! Is any possibility to apply for NEET for me

Abhijit Kundu 9th Jun, 2019

Hi Asis,

I am sorry to say that if you fail in Physics or Chemistry you will not be able to apply for NEET or engineering. If you can give the improvement exam for it and pass then you might be able to apply for them.

Physics and chemistry are compulsory subjects and you have to pass to be eligible for medical and engineering.

Good luck!

I am failed in 12th physics theory paper i am eligible for NEET or not! Is any possibility to apply for NEET for me

ravi majithiya1171107822 Student Expert 9th Jun, 2019

No you can not appear for the NEET as it requires to have cleared the class 12 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% aggrigate. So in this case you have cleared your 12 exam then you will not be able to appear in NEET unless you have passed with 50% aggragate marks. If you have 50% aggragate marks then you will be eligible fot the NEET. If you have got less marks then it will do for the exam but first I would like to suggest you that you first clear you physics and then appear for the NEET
