Can Will CoEP consider my grp % of hsc Board of subjects PMB, as opposed to PCM for eligibility..?

Aaa Student Expert 14th Jul, 2019

Hi,

Yes, your PMB marks are eligible to be considered as group marks instead of PCM, as it has been clearly stated that you should have physics and maths as compulsory subjects with one amongst chemistry or biology or biotechnology, or vocational or technical subject to form a group.

For more information, you can visit this link https://info.mahacet.org/MHT-CET-2019/Draft-Copy-of-MHT-CET-2019-Information-Brochure-for-Engg_Tech_Pharmacy_Pharm.D..pdf

Apart from this, you have a good percentile. For cutoffs please visit https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-cutoff

I got in 12 board 52.40% but the rule for engineering eligibility is 50% in physics chemistry and maths then it is possible

kulvinder 3rd Jun, 2019

Hi there,
Hope you are doing well.
Your question doesn't clearly state your marks.
If the eligibility criteria are to achieve 50% each in PCM, then you have to go with it and
if the eligibility criteria are to achieve an aggregate of 50 %, then you have to fulfil it.
Hope it would help

I get 36 in physics, 46 in biology and 41 in chemistry in 12th so i am eligible for neet and I belong to sc category

rehan18alam Student Expert 3rd Jun, 2019

Hi Pradnya,

Yes, you are eligible for NEET if you belong to SC category. The eligibility criteria for NEET exam is minimum of a 50% aggregate for a general category student and 40% for SC in PCB. Since your marks are just above 40% you are eligible for NEET as per the eligibility defined in 2019. However, the rules might change in 2020.

Am I eligible for MBBS admission if I have biology as my optional elective(and not additional) and physics is not included in my best five?

Vemireddy Rushita Student Expert 4th Jul, 2019

Hello Ritam,

To get an admission for MBBS course you should have appeared for the NEET examination and should have scored a minimum of 500+ to get an MBBS admission in best colleges. In the NEET examination the questions will be asked from the biology, physics and chemistry subjects. It doesn't matter if these subjects are not your main subjects in 12th, you should have studied this subject in 12th for sure. If not then you will not get a chance to study MBBS in many of the colleges.

Good luck!

I got Tamilnadu state board exam 38% in maths and 66% in physics and 70 %in chemistry. But 125 in Nata. Am I eligible for B. Arch?

Preetika Babu 3rd Jun, 2019

Hello Sundarraj,

For NATA you need to have a 50% overall in you 10th standard and 12th standard seperately and a 40% in NATA that is 80 marks of the total. Check if your overall total is 50% in 10 seperately and 12th seperately. Your NATA score is good enough.

shruti jha Student Expert 12th Aug, 2019

Hi Aliya,

Yes, with 380 marks in neet 2019, you can easily pursue self-financing ayurvedic courses in any government /private/deemed medical colleges or universities.

Generally the fee structure for self-finance seats for bams ranges between 50,000 to even more.

This varies from college to college.

So, I will suggest you to keep checking the official websites too .

Good luck.
