I got 49% in PCB can I eligible for neet,56 in physics, 50 in bio, 42 in chemistry

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 29th May, 2019
Hello dear
Eligibility criteria for neet is :-

UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects).
You didn't mention your category.

So with 49 % marks  if you are from general category then you are not eligible but if you are from obc /sc/st category then you are eligible.
thankyou

Is information Technology (code 97) considered for 50% eligibility with Maths and Physics for engg admission?

Apurva anand 28th May, 2019
Hello, the eligibility criteria states that you need to score an aggregate of at least 50% in 12th board. It's not like you can take only 3 subjects to calculate the aggregate. The total aggregate of all your 5 or 6 subjects should be above 50%. You can't take just 3 best subjects and calculate the aggregate. You need to take all the subjects in consideration.

I got 66 in bio and 41 in physics and 41 in chemistry . So am i eligible to give neet??? By taking drop

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 28th May, 2019
Hey.
To be eligible to take admissiom through NEET you need to pass class 12th exam from a recognised board and you also need to score a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCB subjects together.
If you belong to the SC/ST/OBC category you require a minimum aggregate of 40% aggregate in PCB and 45% aggregate if you belong to the Physically Handicapped quota.
As your aggregate in PCB is 49.3 which is less than 50%
So you don't seem to be eligible if you belong to general  category. If you belong to SC/ST/OBC or PH you are eligible.
Best of luck

KCET Ranking 37381 Iam eligible mechanical engineering

Soumodeep Rana 28th May, 2019

Hello Manjunath M Konnur

Though 37K in KCET is quite less score. but as per your question, hope is there.

there are many colleges that takes till 45K also.

so you might get a college but getting a good or decent college is quite tough.

I would suggest you to drop a year or find an alternative to get into other colleges or try comedk or any other exam, as getting with 37K rank will not land you onto any goos college.

Hope that helps!

All the best!

My child got maths 49 physics 46 chemistry 44 and 129 in electronics Then he eligible for engineering Maharashtra

Pratyusha Tripathy 30th May, 2019
Hello,

As you want to know whether your child can get admission in engineering or not??
So the eligibility criteria for admission in engineering is the candidate must pass his/her 12th or HSE with 50%( 45% for other reserved categories) with math and physics as main subjects.
He/she must have studied chemistry or biology or biotechnology as a subject in class. As there's no percentage of cutoff mentioned subject wise so as long as your child has 50% of mark in 12th he/she can most definitely get into engineering.
For admission in engineering, they are accepting students through below-mentioned entrance exams
1. MHTCET
2. JEE Mains
3. SET

And if you are looking for admission through MHTCET then the candidate must have a none zero score to be able to get into engineering.

Hope this helps. If this is not the answer you were looking for please feel free to correct us.

Kashish Student Expert 28th May, 2019

Hello.

There are various parameters for eligibility of NEET.

I would like to know if you fall under any caste category.

However, if you have English as well as your compulsory subject, you do score above 50% aggregate marks, and you are eligible for appearing for the NEET entrance test.

Siddhant Student Expert 18th Jun, 2019

Dear student,

Please be specific of what your question is .

As you may know mht cet is an entrance examination for many courses. So if you want to apply for any post graduate degree like mba or mms , then any degree with minimum 50 % is required with mht cet marks. It is not necessary for what particular field you want to apply information technology is compulsory. Information technology degree like bsc it or btech in information technology is applicable for mht cet eligibility.

Hope it helps you .

I got 86% in Isc board class 12.According to ISC rule % is defined as marks of English+best 3 subjects. Am I eligible for NIT?

kartik_1559822604 Student Expert 7th Jul, 2019

Hello aspirant,

Congratulations for the results. Hope you are doing well. To get admission in NIT one needs to score atleast 75% in 12 th boards and also the score is seen of physics, chemistry and mathematics and not for other subjects so your 86% will not be valid as you have to go with either all the subject or physics, chemistry and mathematics and English and one more optional subject.

Hope this helps
