Dear Sir/Mam, I want to do MS in UK in January 2021. Do i have to give both IELTS and TOEFL exams or either? I dont know when and how to start preparation. please Help. Thanks

Mayank Chowdhary 2nd Feb, 2020

Giving either of them is ok actually. And for preparations then if you plan to shift in 2021 try to give the exam in around November 2020 if possible and to start it's preparations, as per me it's a 3 months regular studies required to crack the same. So you can start in around July/August to be well prepared to give the exam.

Either the IELTS or the TOEFL is required as part of your application to an English-speaking university and will demonstrate if you will be able to understand the course material.

The IELTS and TOEFL exams are two of the most accepted English proficiency exams around the world. However, both of these tests are different in their structure, approach, and teaching criteria. This means that you need to understand how the two differ before selecting which test to study for and ultimately take.

Thank you.

I am in class 12 I not yet start my jee preparation I start it from base and I need a good computer engineering college what can I do ?

Aashima Puri 13th Mar, 2020

Hello aspirant,

No need to worry you have lots of time left. One year is sufficient to score good marks in JEE.Preparation for any competitive exam needs more smart work and time management. Don't just read what your teacher teaches you. In depth understanding of the basics is really important. Don't waste your time rather use it judiciously. Ask doubts immediately don't postpone them for future. Never let your practice test marks affect you , learn from your mistakes. Focus more on previous year questions of IIT JEE.

Most importantly do not forget  to relax! It helps you remember things better and refreshes your mind.Keep yourself motivated and updated!

Best of Luck!!!

Shivika Tyagi 2nd Feb, 2020
Hello,
Both of the are good in their own ways. But if you want to get good score in cat, then I will recommend you to go for TIME, as from cat's standard it will be more beneficial. But if you want to select from these two only than I will recommend you to go for iquanta above cracku.

Best and lowest fee coaching for CAT ( online)preparation

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 2nd Feb, 2020
You can get the best online course for CAT from Career Launcher's  CAT online coaching program which entails more than 75 video lectures for CAT and some lectures on other competitive exams like XAT, IIFT, SNAP and others. Apart from that you'll also get the access to mock test series. The total cost for the entire course is nearly 42500. Apart from that you can also check out the Online comprehensive program for CAT in mindworkzz, by Arun Sharma which will cost you nearly 34700. Both are equally good.

But you can also study by yourself by following various books like Arun Sharma and Sarvesh Verma for Quantitative Aptitude and read daily newspapers for the verbal ability part. For DI/LR previous year questions would suffice. Along with that you can purchase the mock test series from various institutes like TIME, Career Launcher or IMS that will cost you not more than 15000.

Good Luck

in which year of bba i should start preparation for CAT

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 2nd Feb, 2020
You can start from the very first year only if you feel that your basic concepts are weak but one year of preparation will usually suffice. But if you start from the 1st year you'll have enough time to prepare well for the exam. But if you'll be appearing for CAT in your final year of graduation then do take some mock test series then only as it will help you in time management and will provide you the types of questions generally asked in CAT.

All the very best

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Mar, 2020
Hello

Yes , you can write UPSC examination at 30 years of your age.

You can check upper age limit for various categories which is provided below :-

  • General category & EWS: 32 years;
  • OBC(with certificate): 32 years + 3 years i.e 35 years
  • Sc/ST: 32 years + 5 years i.e 37 years
  • Physically Disabled: 32 years + 10 years i.e 45 years .

If I tell you about maximum number of attempts then it is given below for different categories :-

  • A general category/EWS category candidate has a maximum of 6 attempts in the UPSC IAS exam.
  • OBC candidates have 9 attempts
  • SC/ST candidates have no bar on the number of attempts (they can take the exam until they reach the upper age limit)

if i prepare for SBI PO,is that preparation sufficient to appear for SBI CLERK as well(just in case i decide to go for SBI CLERK first),or will i need to study separately for SBI CLERK?

pdwords Student Expert 1st Feb, 2020
Hello,

Yes,you can go ahead with both simultaneously. SBI PO as well as SBI Clerk follow similar exam pattern, although the level of questions are higher in PO compared to clerk became that's an officer level examination, Also, there's no interview for SBI Clerk,it's only document verification. Accuracy and speed is what matters the most in banking exams, practice mock papers on a regular basis in order to succeed in these exams.
