Scope
Hey Harshita,
To clear you up on the choices you have for your subjects, I would put up the fronts:.
1) Go with your interest. Studying whatever interests you more between the two.
2) Now talking about scope, I would personally favour Chemistry given the wide scope of Quantum studies, chemistry has to offer. The field of Quantum Computing is said to take over the science world and be the next big thing and it is widely covered in chemistry.
Best of luck with your decision.
Hello Atharva,
Aeronautical Engineering has a lot of scope. Aeronautical Engineering is one of the popular branches of Engineering as an academic discipline. This branch of Engineering attracts students who have a keen interest in air planes and their mechanism. It provides great opportunities.
All the best.
Thanks for A2A brother
It is good to see students are showing interest other than so called trending branches like CSE or EC.
Actually brother, opting Egineering Physics will open the doors for you and provides huge scope in research.
Actually engineering physics is a mamoth subject, in this you'll study subjects like optics, electromagnetism, electrostats, solid state etc. Almost all your IIT phsics pricnciples will help you in understanding the above topics indepth.
So, my sincere advise would be to opt for the branch only when you ahve considerable interest in physics.
Regarding college, IIT B and IIsc banglore are the best in this feild!
Thank You
Actually Bhaskar Sharma, both of them has good scope. It all depends on the domain where you are work from.Mechanical has large number of competitiors while chemical has less competition,so you have to choose between the two.I would suggest you to gor for the chemical engineering in a descent ranked college as they have more varied scopes.
T hanks for connecting.Team careers360.
Dear Harish,
Aeronautics deals with the study of aircraft material such as aeroplane, etc whereas aerospace deals with the concept of design, operation and construction of space vehicles.
Aerospace engineering is a skill based career and requires high expertise. You can go for public sector such as ISRO, ADE, NAL, DRDO and private sector such as Mahindra aerospace, Taneja aerospace. You can also work in abroad. The salary is very handsome.
In aerospace engineering is better from my point of view as it deals with space and aeronautical is a subdivision under aerospace engineering.
The choice is yours and both are good. Look out for your interest.
Regards
Hello!
Aeronautical engineering has a scope both, in India as well as abroad. They are required in public and private Airline Services as well as aircraft-manufacturing units. The salary to these engineers are offered based on their experience, skills, city of employment and type of employer.
The best colleges are of course IITs - Bombay, Madras, Kanpur and Kharagpur. You can also try Hindustan university and Amrita University. Good luck!
Hello Aliya, Well, Chemical generation is booming right now and it certainly has very good job opportunities in the future. Oil industries and gas industries all require chemical engineers. But the same can't be said about the biotech branch. Biotech branch in India has very fewer job opportunities in firms related to biotech. Biotech students often learn some computer skills and then get a job in software companies and others.
