SHUBHANGI SINHA 29th Jun, 2025

Hello,

Your chances of obtaining and MBBS seat under the all India quota for SC category or noticed if you NEET 2025 code is 392, your all India rank is 225085, and your all India quota SC category rank is 15444. This is particularly true for government or senior government medical institutions in States with lower competition.

AIQ

Depending on your all India quota rank and category, you maybe eligible to attend colleges like Patliputra Medical College & hospital, Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College.

State Quota

Your prospects of getting a state counselling under the SC category are greatly increased. Mini State Government colleges have lower SC seat cut off than all India quota. my neet score is 255 and rank is 584899 can i get any course any means any course in government college

SHUBHANGI SINHA 30th Jun, 2025

Hello,

Even under reserved categories, it is regrettably extremely hard to get an MBBS seat in a Government Medical College with a NEET 2025 score of 255 and rank of 584 899. Depending on the state and category, the minimal cutoff for government MBBS seats for reserved groups like SC, ST, and OBC varies. Usually, the cutoff is much higher for students in the general category.

For various allied health science course, you still have alternatives at government medical colleges, particularly under the state quota.

These consist of:

  • BDS
  • BAMS
  • BPT

Sign up for state counselling, look at paramedical and AYUSH choices.

I want which course can I get with score of 231 in neet

Avanishsree VP 28th Jun, 2025

With a NEET score of 231, getting an MBBS seat in a government college is quite difficult, especially under the open category. But don’t worry — there are still many good options available for you in the medical field. You can explore courses like BDS (Dental), BAMS (Ayurveda), BHMS (Homeopathy), and BPT (Physiotherapy) in private or semi-government colleges. You may also get BSc Nursing or Allied Health Science courses, which have strong career scopes in hospitals and labs. If you’re truly passionate about medicine, you can even consider taking a drop and preparing again with more focus. But if you’re open to other medical careers, these options can still lead you to a bright and meaningful future in healthcare.

Whats the cut off criteria for kashmiri migrant quota students in neet ug like how much it differ from general category cut off normally and whats the approx safe score for this category every year?

OISHEE BANERJEE 30th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant,
The Kashmiri Migrant quota is a special category with relaxed cutoffs compared to the General category. While General category MBBS seats usually close above 600 marks, Kashmiri Migrant quota MBBS seats in some colleges have gone as low as 330–380 marks depending on the year and seat availability.

The difference in cutoff can be around 200–250 marks lower than General cutoffs in central universities and a few state quotas that offer this reservation (like Delhi, Rajasthan, Maharashtra).

A safe score for MBBS under this quota is usually 380+, though some years candidates have managed with 340–360 in mop-up rounds. Cutoffs vary slightly each year, so aiming above 400 is safest if you're targeting top colleges.

Can I get ECE at abvgiet with 97 score in hpcet with ews and hpsq?

OISHEE BANERJEE 1st Jul, 2025

Hello aspirant,
A score of around 97 marks in HPCET puts you in the mid-range of expected percentile, which usually translates to a rank between 30,000 and 50,000, although exact figures depend on the year. Considering the typical closing marks for ECE at ABVGIET, which is a government-affiliated college in Himachal, the required score for HP quota EWS candidates usually falls in the range of 90 to 110 marks. That means your 97 score is likely just around the cutoff, giving you a fair chance to get ECE, especially in later rounds like mop-up or spot rounds.

Since HPCET counselling allows you to choose branches and colleges based on your rank and category, it's important that you participate actively, list ECE at ABVGIET high, and stay engaged through all counselling rounds. If seats remain unfilled, your score should make you eligible for admission.

I got a score of 49 with 63rd rank, in AP PGCET economics exam. What are the best colleges I can get within my range, for M.A. Economics? Can I get a seat in Acharya Nagaraju University or Andhra University?

OISHEE BANERJEE 26th Jun, 2025

With a score of 49 and a 63rd rank in AP PGCET Economics, you have a fair chance of getting into Acharya Nagarjuna University. Andhra University might be a bit more competitive, but it’s still possible depending on your category and how cutoffs move this year. Keep your documents ready and fill in your preferences wisely during counselling.
