Hello
With an All India Rank (AIR) of 76,186 in NEET 2025 and OBC-NCL category from Odisha, your chances for MBBS admission in government medical colleges in Odisha through state quota depend on the cutoff trends and number of seats available.
In Odisha, OBC-NCL cutoffs for government medical colleges usually fall between 35,000 – 55,000 for MBBS. At a rank of 76,000, your chances in government colleges are low but not entirely zero if:
Cutoffs drop significantly this year
You have some rural service quota or PWD reservation
You apply for BDS or private MBBS
Wait for Odisha NEET counselling schedule (usually starts in July-end or early August).
If you didn't get government college you can explore private colleges like Hi-Tech Medical College (Bhubaneswar or Rourkela), KIMS, etc.
Hello,
Based on previous years' cutoffs for OBC category:
Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology, Pimpri
For Computer Engineering or IT, the cutoff is usually around 91 to 94 percentile.
For Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, the cutoff is also around 90 to 92 percentile.
Your score is 85 percentile, so it is lower than the usual cutoffs. It will be difficult to get CSE or AI DS in this college.
JSPM RSCOE, Tathawade
For Computer Engineering, the cutoff is around 78 to 80 percentile.
Your score is 85 percentile, so you have a good chance of getting CSE in this college.
For AI DS, the cutoff is usually higher, around 90 or more, so it might be difficult to get this branch.
Hope it helps !
Dear student, With a NEET 2025 score of 242 and belonging to the SC category , your chances of getting a government BAMS seat in Maharashtra are quite low.
The qualifying marks for SC candidates are usually between 113–143 , so you've cleared that. But for actual admission to a government BAMS college , the cutoff for SC has typically been above 350 marks in recent years. So, 242 is well below what’s usually needed.
That said, you're eligible for counselling , and you may have some chances in private BAMS colleges , where cutoffs are lower. It's a good idea to apply there and keep an eye on the state counselling rounds.

Hello aspirant,
NEET is one of the toughest exam of India and there are limited number of seats in medical colleges in India.
Its cutoff go very high and that's why at a score of 205, it is not possible for you to get seat in any medical college.
I suggest you to study hard and try to score better marks next year.
Thank you
With a NEET score of 469 and belonging to the 3B category in Karnataka , securing a government or semi-government MBBS seat is unlikely , but not entirely impossible . It depends on the specific college, the number of seats available, and the competition within your category.
Hii,
Congratulations on that excellent score,at 99.78 percentile, as an Other State candidate, you’re eligible for both All India seats in top colleges and Maharashtra state quota where allowed. You can aim for COEP Pune, VJTI Mumbai, PICT Pune, all of which had past CSE cutoffs around 99 in Home State quota and slightly lower for all India quota. You're also well-placed for branches like IT or E&TC if CSE gets filled quickly. Make sure to register in both state and institute-level rounds, and have documents like passport, Class 12 marksheet ready.

With a NEET score of 385 and an All India Rank of approximately 240,000, and belonging to the VJNT category, it is unlikely but not impossible to secure admission to the Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Nashik. While the score is below the typical cutoff for government BAMS colleges, the VJNT category might offer some advantage in securing a seat through state quota counseling.
